just received a call from from this number...they threatened that I would be in big trouble if I didn't call them right away, because I owed them money...I don't owe anyone money...then after the threats, they wished me a great day!

I got a scam call from this number claiming they were from the IRS (funny enough not a tax related organization in my country). I was to contact them directly or have my lawyer contact them, if not "good luck". It was an automated recording, not an actual person calling. If I didn't know better, I'd think the bad-guys from the film Taken had tried to scam me!

The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive.  Do not disregard this message. I repeat you must call 18442639991. If you do not call 18442639991 you will have no defense.  If you choose to disregard this message and if I do not hear from your attorney either all I can do is wish you good luck with the situation the fault is on you.  Good bye.

attorney of racket...threatens you if you do not call them back...  a certain Justin Williams

Voice recorded message claiming it's from CRA and that I need to have my attorney contact them immediately or "good luck". SCAM! Called the number back to call them out but didn't get anyone.

I just listened to a voice message from them but didn't get the first bit of conversation as it didn't record. Basically it's the same words but didn't get to hear what they were calling about.

I am certain this is a complete scam.

Definitely a scammer. It was a robotic /computerized voice I'm sure is used to mass call people.

Threatening me. Talking to cops right away.

Just got the call, don't know if I should just put the number on my auto reject or do something about it. Most likely I'm going to ignore it.

Sorry for double post, but my message was from a guy with an Indian accent. I could barely understand what he was saying, but it wa something similar to what ^ other people have said.

Put the number on Auto Reject as I just did.  It is a scam with the hopes that they will trick a poor soul into calling this fictitious Justin Williams so they can get money somehow. Had calls with same message from a different 1-844 number last year. If you owed anyone money you would have been contacted in writing. Stay smart everyone!

Just got the same msg. The recording has a big accent.....does not seem to speak English very well!

this must be the worst scammers ever lol, i called them back with a fake name, they told me that they're the CRA fraud squad and that i need to have my lawyer call them, i told them i didnt have one. they just told me to get one and call in. how do they expect to make any money with such [***] scams

Just got the call , called back pretending to be a lawyer guy hung up then I called back again off another number and he starting saying contact my lawyer immediately and call him back lol just keep calling them it gets them really mad haha .. then report it to your local police lol

Computer was locked out. Claimed to be Microsoft number appeared 844 263 9992 told to call the number to unlock computer. Had to manually close down computer. Finally called the number a guy who said his name was James said he coul fixi it for $199.00 I said no, he was gone. If you see this on your computer or get a call from the number it is a SCAM!!!!!

Was left a message that I had legal allegations pending, with the IRS. Traced the number and found thru Google it was a scam number. Thanks for your input. People should know the IRS does not use terminology like that. And if you were in legal trouble its thru the mail
