I recieved several calls from a "Michael tipton" on both my daughters phones. Something about serving me papers to my home or place of work the next day. I would also need two forms of ID. So i called the number...i got a very unpleasant lady on the phone. I gave her the "case" number that Mr. Tipton had left on the VOICE MAIL...the woman wanted me to verify further info to validate my identity. When i refused she told me that i would need a good lawyer then hung up. She Never identified as a debt collector. So that was my que that they are a scam.
I later recieved a phone call directly from Mr. Tipton with the "compliance center" He claimed to be a process server and would be out within the hour to my home or place of employment. So i asked which place he planned on showing up at? He said either one that works for me! So i said that was going to be a problem due to the fact i wasent going to be at ether place for quite some time. So he said that was a big problem for me. I said no, thats your problem. At that point Mr Tipton proceeded to inform me that he was going to take legal action for interfering with a process server. Or some BS like that. So i just told him he was a scam. He said i have your social security number. Then he rattled off a number to scare me, and said if i wanted to i could just scam you.Then he said i will show you im real, i will be out within the hour!
Lol. Nope. He didnt show.
In my county,the sheriff delivers court papers.
So this guy is a TOTAL scam.
He said the company he worked for was the Compliance Center and the orders came from the Offices of westwood.
Scam artists for sure. What Mr. Tipton doesent realize is that my phone records ALL calls. And my relatives that recieved his SEVERAL voice mails have turned them over to me.
So all this info is headed to my lawyer..

Chris Simmons called and left a message he also called my daughter and revealed to her it was a civil suit matter, he also called my dad and shared with him about a court date.

I know that this is a scam because he used my facebook name and I never use that anywhere but on Facebook.

I received a phone call from Brian the compliance officer. He told me he was serving me papers. Gave me number 8442838541 to settle dispute. Called it and was told they were Westwood. Couldn’t give me address or location of this company. No website either! I reported them to federal trade commission , BBB, and my attorney generals office! I gave them detailed information and recordings of my conversations. Have fun dealing with that you scam artists! I encourage everyone to do that same things I did!

Hello, I am having the same issue however, the person that keeps calling me his name is "Mr. Davis".  I was wondering if you have any luck with a suit against these people?  He keeps threatening my family and stating that they are connected to this as well because of me and they should just turn me over.  Like I'm hiding, yep I am in plain sight.  And this has been going on for several months now.

This number keeps calling my family and threatening them, even after they told him to stop calling.  They haven't disclosed what collector they are calling from.  From my understanding creditors are not suppose to threaten or leave threatening messages and must disclose the company name.  I'm just really tired of whoever these people are and want it to stop.

I was called at my place of employment today. Samantha Scorbouth called (?) and said she is a compliance officer. I wasn't at work so they left a message saying there were documents I needed to sign and to call immediately. They also called two weeks ago saying they would be out to my place of employment to serve me with papers, which they never did. How do I file a complaint against these people?

Same happened to me!  Jonathan Davis couldn't give me any info without my "case number" This call was for my dad. They said they would be out to serve him papers at his work or job with in 3 hours. He lives in Fl and works out of state all week. At the moment he is being hospitalized. I told him to stop calling and he threatened me with being sued or some crap.

I’ve had the same experience lately. I’ve been receiving calls from a Jack Miles who’s been harassing my mom and I, saying that I need to call him in order to stop a case against me. Doesn’t identify any firm he’s working for or if what the case is about. Just leaves me a voicemail saying that if I don’t call 844-216-5556 then he will come to my house or job and serve me. He called again today and said that since he hasn’t heard from the firm I was supposed to call, then he will wait until Monday to hear back and he’ll serve me. Okay buddy, good luck finding me. I’m not falling for the scam. Already checked with my county court and there’s nothing against me.

Got a long drawn out message that I’m connected to someone named tamika and there is a case against me and her blah blah blah. Get these people to stop don’t have time for the nonsense calls. The girl couldn’t even read the script correctly. The number that called me ended in 5556
