Sylvia Holt called and said it was a final warning for Jaquiline M, if this is not Jaquiline please hang up.  She has call twice, so I call back and a Mr Ross answered, asked how he can help me, but when I started talking he hung up, RUDE!!!!. So I blocked their number on my phone.

She called and left a message for me stating it was a federal matter and that I needed to contact before end of business day but one problem, I have ABSOLUTELY no federal problems and if I did I would have been contacted more than just this lame ass message. Everyone is getting scammed rightnow by the irs and government so BEWARE

Same experience as other posts.  All immediate family members were contacted simultaneously by same caller leaving same message.

Also said legal matter from federal government giving my sister-in-laws name.  it said if this is not (her name) then hang up now so I HUNG UP.

I received the same call today and I have heard from 3 other people that this company called them looking for me. I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize.

Called for my daughter. Said the exact same thing. This is a Federal Government thing. If you are not the person they are asking for hang up.

Got a call today on my cell phone (844-284-5550) stating they had a legal matter for "Melanie" to attend too....Not me...but as I was on break I pressed 1...Sylvia gave me a number to call back...so I did...then I hear this..."IRS...this is Pete"...LOL...so I continue to play stupid...he wanted my name (fake one of course)...and then procedded to tell me I have a HUGE debt that was in collections...I was like..Nope...I don't recognize that..he then told me he was turning me over to the "Escalation" department! Oh My!! By this time my break was over so I hung up...Really though...How do people fall for this crap...I mean COME ON!!

I got a call today, missed it and got vmail for an Amy.  Not me....LOL!  Obviously a scam by reading everyone else's experience.  Said if I wasn't her to push 1 now.....kind of hard to do with it being on my vmail.

He called me claiming I owe money to his client from KJ jewelry's. Was very rude and tried to ask me my personal information. He asked me if my DOB was current and had the wrong one so hanged up.

They called my work and asked for my sister.  Why call a business for a person that doesn't even work there.

When I answered the phone, the recording in a woman's voice said, "press #1 if you are Jxxx Bxxxx."  I did nothing and the woman went onto explain, via recording, something to the effect please call back immediately, if we don't hear from you by the end of the day we will have to "escalate" the paperwork immediately, and there will be nothing your attorneys can do for you.  JB whom they asked for was my roommate in the military - get his - 25 years ago, and she later came out to my state to live with me one summer 10 years ago.  She went back to her home state, and I have not had contact w her since. I have changed my phone # at least 2x since then and also moved to another part of the state so how do they associate her with me? Granted, there is more than one person in the world w her 1st & last name but it's not that common.  I called back and it is a voice mail for Pete Banks but does not identify the company. I left a msg for him to call back, have not heard anythg so apparently not the urgent matter they said It was.

Said she was going to process my account & that I had tried to prevent this from happening, I need to return her call by the end of the day!
I tried calling the # to see who it was & it wrong once then started playing (elevator type) music....

I should also state that my # is on the Do Not Call list!

this is a scam -- i'm reporting it -- it isn't real, they just try to scare people.

I received a call from someone who appeared to have a strong indian accent stating that they were from the cable company and it was regarding a security issue.  Who ever you are you need to seriously get a life.......
