Dont call again!!!

Called without identifying the company. Threatening to pursue legal activity to the highest extent of the Law. My question is why not just do instead of calling?

Because they can't do anything.  They are scammers.  You haven't done anything they can sue you for.  They know that.  They are trying to scare you into paying them to not sue you.  But you have to pay right.this.second by giving them your credit card number or bank account number.

They just called my work and left a VM with the receptionist telling her they have a document telling me to appear in court. I called the number and left a VM. Anyone know who these people are?

No on at this website is calling you.  Invest in a call blocker and DO NOT pick up on call numbers you do not recognize.

Scammers.  I called that number and someone answered with what appeared to be a muffled voice.  I asked him what group this was and he said "one moment" and then put on some really strange music. Never came back.

I've heard that response before; it usually indicates off-shore scammers.  I'd simply ignore and block the calls.  Clearly a debt scamming operation  of some kind.

If you were the subject of a pending civil lawsuit, you'd have received a letter from the attorney for the other party.  You'd have a paper trail.

Then, if a case was filed, you'd have received a summons delivered to you by someone licensed to serve process in your locality.  You would NOT have first heard about any civil law case from some scammery-scummery debt collector who cold calls you and starts demanding money.

You can check this out yourself by simply going down to the local main civil court and checking the defendants civil list.  The court clerks are usually glad to help and are familiar with these kinds of scams.

Ignore and block the calls.  Be on the lookout for 844 area code calls.  Scammers love to use them.

Thank you. I called the county court and they were able to confirm our errors the phone that I don't have any pending cases against me. I just hope they stop calling my work!

CWG40 is correct.  It doesn't matter what State, County or City you are in, there is a process for debt collection and these calls are nowhere close to that process.

I got the same message that Rocky got. They said they were from the corporate office &  gave me a confirmation #_

It looks like when you hit the number of 8442855781 it connects to some sort of switchboard and then they direct your call to legal / medical / dental which seems weird..

They said they are RCN Associates,  but very vague about everything else.  Trying to issue me "documents" from the clerks office to appear in court regarding my brother. I never signed anything for my brother.  How is this legal?

Got a message from a program on my computer saying my system was Hacked and to call this number ((844) 285-8613). Called them and ask to access my system. and said yes I was hacked and they tried to Sell me Antivirus software. after see this info.  I now know they are the hackers. My son says I have to reformat my system now. since they had direct access.
