It has something to do with Wordpress (website builder)

IWebdynamics processes e-checks for other companies/businesses. I bought some stuff on the Internet and payed for it with an e-check. The company from who I made the purchase is legitimate. I've done business with them many times. Unfortunately, because I didn't recognize IWebdynamics, I put a stop payment on the check only to discover it was my error.

If you have a joint checking account, perhaps the other person on the account made the purchase and neglected to tell you about it.

Keep in mind, just because a number is legit, doesn't mean the caller is!

Scammers spoof legitimate numbers to trick people into a false sense of security to answer their calls and attempt to get money or personal information from you.
This is why no one will encourage others to report of legitimate numbers, as they only confuse people into believing it is a legit call when a scammer has called them and they come here to find out about the call.

If it is a legitimate call, then anyone receiving a call would know WHY they got a call from this number, right?
So what would be a reason to come and post about it to a site designed to share information about UNKNOWN callers, such as Telemarketers, Scammers and Debt Collectors?

If your call was legit,  telling about it won't  be any comfort to those who may get a spoofed call from some scammer!

I too thought this was a fraudulent charge, however, when I called they asked if I did business with any out of the country businesses and listed a handful of companies, one of which I recognized as an online pharmacy that I use called All Day Chemist. I suggest you call the number and confirm before stopping payment. If I had done so my online order would have been canceled.

Likewise. Turned out to be legit. For me it was an offshore pharmacy.

Unexpected charge of $184 e-check showed on our bank statement, from iWebDynamics, with phone #. I first thought it was fraud, but I was wrong. Turns out the wife bought hard-to-get equine medicine. Before I knew that I exchanged some phone calls with them, including returned voicemail. They were polite and identified some likely pharmacy names, which helped the wife remember what she bought.
