- WhyAreTheseCalls Allowed? replies to KODI844-294-3222 calling a number that has not been the person's they are looking for... for over 8 years. Gee, you debt collectors are way behind on your technology. Stop hassling the wrong people. You should be FINED heavily and have to pay a very high penalty to those you call.
- Anonymous replies to KODIThey keep calling me and when I call back it says thanks for calling UPG
- Michele santelloThese scammers keep calling my number as well as my husband and they are looking for my husband to serve him papers on a claim filed against him!!! For what? They don't give information but want to know your address and place of emplyment to serve papers and they want your SS number. Do not give these morons any personal info. I had called my local PD and they reported it and calls stopped for 2 weeks and now started all over again. I think it's time to change phone numbers, but then again I am not going to let these incompetent people ruin our lives.

- Allen t cob replies to KODIThis number is from a company claiming they are not a debt collection agency but they will ask you for money. They are rude and very spiteful will call you non stop. I reported them to the FTC and my attorney general. They are ruthless and criminals. Don't talk to them, just hangup and block their calls. - Not Jessica Garcia! Haha replies to CWG40| 3 repliesIt took about 15 calls to the following numbers to get this info. Who knows if it is real.

The company identifies themselves as UPG LLC. It is extremely difficult to get any contact info out of any of their employees. They usually just hang up even after they say to you they will not hang up. I repeatedly asked for an e-mail address, physical address, web site or fax number. They finally gave me something.

Fax number: (866) 784-0966
I am doubting that these will be a good contact source at all, but that's where I am sending a legal letter and I hope they finally get the message. If not, I will have some strong legal ground to stand on. - Justin replies to Not Jessica Garcia! Haha| 1 replyWhen they called me, it said it was from Texas.
- justin replies to JustinNvm. Got the number mixed up.
- Rhonda| 1 replyThey called me & when I asked what it was about they got defensive & wanted me to verify the last 4 numbers of my Social. I told them to tell me what it was about & they wouldn't. I know that it cannot be for an outstanding bill because I have just filed bankruptcy on every one of my bills not even 3 months ago so I have no bill that a bill collector should be calling about. They were very rude. They called themselves UPG LLC.

NYACK, NEW YORK, 10960 - CWG40 replies to RhondaJust because a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt does not mean you owe it
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:
1. Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2. Demand a debt validation letter by US mail. E-mail no good.
3. Do not pay the collection agent or anyone else a DIME until the debt is validated.
Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply block their calls and ignore them.
If they are bothering you,
Report them:
http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection
Also contact your local attorney general
If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion. You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her. Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved. Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them .
