Just got a call (again) on cell from this number, so I called back (from another number).  After getting the "Please wait for the next available operator," an Indian-sounding male asked "How may I help you?"  I replied "I do not know; who are you?" he asked again "How may I help you?" and I offered the same reply.  After several seconds of silence, the call was disconnected.  

They call from numerous numbers.  YOu can never actually get them all added to a block list I dont think.  

Scam call from a telemarketer selling anything he thinks I might buy.  This time it was back and leg pain cures.  Said he was replying to my request.  Same system they use for diabetic supplies, computer repairs and probably medical alert bracelets.  They prey on anyone around Medicare age.  They had personal info about me and said it came from my medical records.  But it was all public info.  I told the guy I knew he was a crook, and he denied it and said he would remove me from his call list.  Then he started pitching his products again.  Probably has a script he has to follow to get paid for the call.  I'm betting I get calls from the same number at least three times before Monday.  Any takers?

Called today but didn't leave a message.  We don't answer unknown callers.  Will block this number.

Got a call from this number this morning.  A heavy accent, probably India.  Now they are pushing back, leg and knee braces and claim they would come thru Medicare.  I said, "why in the H--- do you think I would need such" and hung up.  

I have had several of these calls. So tired of them.  My cell phone should be private not sold to other company's.  

I received a call from someone unknown (from (844) 326-2868) at 8:17 am on Sunday morning, 01 February 2015. After a couple of rings, I answered the phone and immediately pressed the #3 on my phone for approximately 20 times and hung up.

I received a call at 9am this morning.  My caller ID stated "UNKNOWN NAME".  As usual this is a telemarketer.  Because I was able to answer it on the first ring so I answered it angry and said "what do you want?".  I told this person that I've asked them repeatedly not to call my number.  The man on the other end said "No, this is the first time we've tried to contact you.  Our record indicate you suffer from chronic pain."  I yelled back into the phone to "take me off their calling list and no I don't suffer from chronic pain".  If I had thought of it,  I would have told them I do suffer from chronic pain because now they are a chronic pain in my ass!!! But  I had hung up before it all clicked.  So, some time had passed and I decided to call the number back.  It's a recording to leave a message and they will call back in the next business hours.  I left a message again to remove me from their call list.  This is the forth time I've called this number to have them remove me from their list.  Seriously, only reputable companies will put a name on their number.  They are so sneaky and pathetic.  It's probably a scam but regardless, I don't have time for all this [***]!!!

I received a call from 844-326-2868 and left no message. I am still one of the few people out there that has a land line and I keep the ringers turned off, so this way they are not disturbing us. I have caller Id and see who calls, mostly toll free 800 numbers, who never leave a message. My voice mail greeting also says my ringers are turned off because of these type of calls, and we will only return calls we feel is important to us. I notice they do eventually stop calling. If not, I block their number since we get that feature from our phone company. Otherwise I never get calls like these on my cell. I only give out my land line number when asked from businesses, etc, seems to be working so far.

When you buy supplies online and don't ask the company not to sell you email or home address, they share it for a price. Also, some of the information Walgreens used to sell. I switched from them to another company who respects my privacy at all costs. I used a company once and will never do that again as they kept wanting to give me a different meter and i didn't want it. Mine works just fine. I have asked them over the past 3 years to not ever call me again and I have blocked almost 23 numbers when they started using VoIP there is nothing you can do except ignore them or answer then say you aren't going to verify any information or would you please not ever call me again?

A gentleman called me from 8443262868 and when I asked what he was calling about, he said he was from Nat..... ah Back and Forth Medical Supply. I asked him to stop calling and asking my information because I was not going to verify anything and I liked my current pharmacy, would rather not switch. He said Okay. My thought is he may have been representing Nationwide Pharmacies which is a huge company that I refuse to do business with. BY the way, there is no such company listed online.

I, like the rest of you, receive these calls too.   This one happens to belong to scammers that are "giving away" a free GE security system (they WILL charge you for the service though).   Folks, there is nothing free in our world today.  Our government is WORTHLESS, especially when it comes to blocking these calls, so the Do Not Call list is also worthless.  I HAVE developed a system though that has helped greatly in reducing the number of calls I get now.  Your only other course of action is this:

First, if you do NOT have Caller ID, then by all means GET ONE !   Secondly, Do NOT, under any circumstances, answer a caller you do not recognize.  When you do, all you are doing is confirming for them is that they have reached a viable, working number and then they WILL call you back, PLUS they will sell your number to other scam artists so they can call you too.   If they continue to call then first, check with your phone service and see if they have a call blocker service (mine does).   If I continue to receive calls from a certain number then it goes onto my "Blocked" list.  There are also call blockers you can purchase online.  Usually though they give up after a few days on no answers.

Also, by just pressing 1 or any number they say to remove you from their list is also a scam.   It doesn't work either.   Also, I turn off my answering machine.  If it answers their calls, then once again it only confirms the fact that they have indeed reached a "Working" number and they WILL continue to call you.   Have a pleasant day.  Sure am glad too for websites like this.

I will add that by using these tactics, there are now days that go by when I have NO phone calls from scammers!   Only problem is that they continue to get NEW phone numbers.   I have also resorted to making a list of all the number that have called, the date, and who it is (after checking in with these sites).   Please folks, don't answer these phone calls.  Use your caller ID's and the common sense that God has blessed you with.

Thought for the day: What would happen if everyone stopped answering these calls.   IF they got no one to answer, then wouldn't they eventually just give up and die ?

The caller has an accent like a Pakistani taxi driver. He says the company is Orthopedic Medical Supply. I do not need foot, knee, or back braces. This caller is now blocked.

Calls several times a day I hear voices in background but no one talks so I hang up or it just rings a couple times and hangs up before I can answer and never leaves message.

Answered it and after about 5 seconds a recording plays about an auto loan offer. Followed their "Do not call" instructions and hopefully they won't call back.

I keep gething call from this number at the same time each day. I call back and just elivator music and they do not answer
