Citizen Bank Alert

I just got a text from here what did they say?

I just received a text message from First National Bank and Trust about an alert and listed for my cell number and listed a number to call.  When I called, they asked me to give them my account number.  I would not do that and Googled the number and that is how I got to this page.

Got a text alert from citizens Bank when I called the number it said my card has been locked and enter my 16 digit card number to unlock

I just got a text about 45 minutes ago as well saying "CitizensB ank alert for 815######## Contact (844)3263432. The #'s were my phone number. I don't have anything with Citizens Bank. Figured it was a scam...looked it up. Boy do they work fast! 4 complaints all within an hour....and how many didn't complain and/or see the text yet.

Got a text message alert from Citizens Bank to call the listed phone number

8443263432, text, CitizensB ank alert, written exactly as received.

The text message from 844-326-3432 concerning a banking alert has been verified to be a scam.  Do not respond to the number in the text!!!!!

Rec'd a text  from 844-326-3432: "CitizensB alert for (my phone #) Contact 844-326-3432"
Looked up the phone # and found info stating  "SCAM"

It's a scam. I received a text from someone pretending to be Citizen Bank saying it was an account alert and to contact them. I don't have an account with that bank.  I didn't bother replying or calling.

Forward the text to 7726 (SPAM).
