I received a text from this number indicating that there was a "Bangor Savings Alert" for my phone number and requested that I contact the number. First, I no longer live in Maine and do not have a Bangor Savings Account. Secondly, they would not try to get in touch with you by text if there was an issue with your bank account, they would instead send you a letter or an email. Please do not fall for this scam!

Same text message here, says to call this number from Bangor Savings Bank, no way should anyone call this number it's a scam, delete the message and never-ever, give any info .out that way,

When you call they say it's to activate a card.  Definite scam.

Same here. Got a text message from 844-707-9856 (which I wasn't able to find here earlier) claiming to be Bangor Savings. Definitely a scam.

I got a message from this number as well. For one i have never had a bank account. So why would they be contacting me
