I received the same message, except the name was wrong. I called back and the person hung up on me twice when i said who is this. They tried this earlier in the year.

This is an old scam another company (or maybe it was this one then too) tried on me last year. They try to say you owe a payday loan from a decade ago and they are getting ready to take you to court. When this happened a year ago, I told the girl to go ahead and take me court because not only was I confident I would win in court, because I can prove I have never taken out a payday loan, but I would also make them pay my legal fees. Needless to say she hung up and nothing ever happened. This time a call came in to me on Monday. I let it go to voicemail and it gave the whole "important documentation" message. I called back and some guy said "Access Legal" and i cracked up laughing and hung up. At first I was going to let it go, but I decided to call back and have fun with it. I call back and the same guy answered the phone. I'm sure he could tell from the attitude in my voice that I wasn't about to be played. He asked for my number and when I gave it to him he said he didn't have anything listed for my number and I was clear. Yeah, okay. I think it was more like, when I called and laughed in his face the first time, and then had major attitude the second time, he knew I couldn't be punked.

Bottom line is, if you talk to them, stand your ground. It is a scam. They are not going to take you court. It is all a lie to see who they can get to fall for it. If you show them you are not afraid of them, or that you don't care if they take you court (they won't), they will go away.

Same thing I told them I reported them to the attorney general. they turned off their phone number. they have been calling me from 4 different numbers and calling my family as well. Im filling a complaint with the PD as well. Do not fall for this scam. The scary part is they had my bank info and my last 4.
