Robot voice left 'voice' message threatening arrest by US Treasury for tax fraud. Blocked call afterwards and call/number is totally fake and phishing scam.

I just received the same call as Dave TD "Robot voice left 'voice' message threatening arrest by US Treasury for tax fraud. Blocked call afterwards and call/number is totally fake and phishing scam."

I received a call from this number. I didn't answer so they left a voicemail stating that they were calling from the US Treasury and that there is an enforcement action executed against me regarding tax fraud and that ignoring this would be an intentional attempt to avoid initial appearance before the magistrate judge or exempt jury from federal criminal offense. Really? How dumb do they think I am? Total scam! Don't believe them...

I got the same call as everyone. All I can say is this is getting ridiculous!!!

This is the fourth or fifth criminal impersonation of a federal IRS official I've received this week. These [***] should be tracked down where ever they are and drone bombed out of existence.
Mr. Stephenson, I'm really wondering why I keep an AT&T phone which I can no longer answer because you won't do something about these calls. It's not worth $138 a month to be annoyed daily.

i have received a call from this same number, and being  in a lot of amount of trouble with the IRS, I know first hand, that they never call you initially. They send you letters and then certified letters. If no response, they suspend all your bank accounts, and you have to call them. IRS and Federal Agencies never take money over the phone. Believe me, you have to send them a money order or check by certified mail. So you have a receipt and they do too. This got to be a scam I have received so many of these calls, and then they ask me for my date of birth, S.S. #, and Driver license number, saying they want to verify with me who they are talking to. I am not comfortable giving this information over the phone, they can scam me after this. I feel this one is TOTALLY A SCAM!!!
