Marie Garrett saying she had a DMV complaint on me and to call her at the "department of release" 844-331-3337.  I called, they refuse to tell me the name of the company! P.S. - I do not drive or have a car!

I've had several messages left by different female names but same voice telling me the same thing to call release dept of the dmv and driving without a license is illegal. no clue as I've never had any kind of ticket. hard to understand her in the message but she said something about fraud. no idea but when I call it never get a person just put on hold

I got a call from Marie Garrett saying she is from the social services  department  , 844-331-3337.  I called, they refuse to tell me the name of the company! P.S. - .

I have received several messages from this # 1st says it's Tony Richardson and she talks about how it's illegal to drive without a license and to call the release department  (??????) 2nd vm I saved is the same female voice saying she is Shanelle Jackson and she received my request for financial assistance but to call 844-331-3337 to complete application.  curious I called back and it's someone(wouldn't give me her name but it sounded like the same voice as voicemails) saying I owed an online payday $800 called Cutter group. I told her I've never taken out a online payday loan she got huffy with me and said I did and if I don't pay they are going to take my license..I said send me proof through the mail and she said she can't do that and wouldn't give me a reason why.  I told her she was trying to scam me by using different names and reasons why they were calling me. she got mad said for me to call my lawyer and they will see me in court and she hung up on me!!! I've heard of these scams that try to scare you into paying a debt you don't owe....so be careful these people are ridiculous. I filed a complaint for this number with attorney general

So far as I know, Cutter group is no longer operating in the US.  This is just another phantom or zombie creditor that the scammy debt collectors use in their debt collection schemes.

Ignore and block the calls.
