I get calls from numbers very close to this one daily. One left a voicemail saying their number but no other information.

Tried to sell me unwanted/needed medical braces and get my Medicare card number

Said they were from Medicare updating my records. He initially Spelled out my name but I said that wasn’t me and he asked if I could Spell my name for him and I asked him to tell me what he has on file. He was asking me for my address but I told him he should have it on file because I’ve already been sent my card. He was getting frustrated with me and saying he’s not asking for personal information and he asked if I’m from Utah and I said no then I gave him my zip code and he said okay thank you bye. He also had an Indian accent

Medicare Scam

Keep getting calls from this number claiming they are Medicare asking if I got my new card or not.

Claim to be Medicare and requesting verification of my personal information. I hung up and called and reported to the local police. The caller called me a second time, I said I had notified the police and he immediately hung up on me.

Keeps calling and said they are Medicare

Received a call from 844-363-0121, stating she was from medicare and asking me for information on my Medicare card.  She had an accent, sounded like Indian (India). I would not give her any information as she already had my name, address, DOB, and phone number.  Called the number back and a recording said that number has been discounted or out of service.  This is differently a SCAM CALL!!

I think the same lady called me, I think this is illegal she had all my info and said that I will be getting a call from a pharmacy for a topical cream for my back pain. She was also from "Medicare" as well as my health insurance.
Lady named Nancy Pravis  employee id EY1048. Seems like we are in a similar situation. Should we take action?

A man called saying he was from Blue across and wanted to verify my address.  I told him I don’t verify on the phone and he said it wasn’t personal.  I hung up

Male with a heavy accent. Claimed to be from Blue Cross / Blue Shield, calling to "verify" info. (I'm not on BC/BS.) Super creepy - knew my name.

I got a call from this guy he's from India he said he was from Blue Cross Blue shield as if I got my card yet. Didn't realize got the office moved out of town. you could tell he's not here for a while because he put the date wrong. And it couldn't spell simple American names correctly. They better hope that somebody like me doesn't find him. Called back for the number is out of service. They use in a proxy jump

Indian guy saying he was from Blue Cross Blue Shield wanting to verify information.  Had my maiden name and DOB.  When I asked what it was in regards to, he say he was looking to update my primary care information.  When I questioned it he stated he wasn't asking for anything personal.  I told him I could update it on my own and I hung up.

Female with probable Indian accent claiming to be with my insurance company wanting to verify my information.  She already knew my name, address, and DOB, but was asking for insurance #'s, height, weight, history of doctor visits, etc.

Got a call from this number & location was listed as unknown. Before the India guy said a word you could hear all kinds of talking & other noise in the background. First dead giveaway this was not a legit call!! Then he says, my name is Brian calling today from Medicare & I said, you are calling from Medicare. Yes ma’am is what he said. I said, funny because all the employees for Medicare are Americans & the never call from out of the country!! I hung up then. Canada has put together a task force to take on these scammers & have been having success at it, why can’t the US put politics aside for once & do the same for us!!!
