I call them back and tell them I have the actual Microsoft refund department on the line with us,(its a lie)  and tell them they are not going out of business and they immediately hang up, then I call back and play along when they tell me to access a box, I tell the that a message that the FBI  has a message stating they are taking over my computer,  to track them, then they curse me out and hang up, I call back until the number states that this number is no longer accepting calls

this call was about Microsoft discontinuing a program and i am entitled to a refund. i do have a repair plan with Microsoft but Microsoft does not contact you by phone.

I got the same call.  They called me yesterday too but using a 888 number.

Calling landline every day. Woman with heavy accent says she's from the Microsoft Refund Dept. & they're going out of business so they've been ordered to " refund your money."  It's very obvious it's a scam but very annoying!

Called me twice on two different numbers they had and told me it was my final notice to contact microsoft about a refund i had a couple of months ago but Microsoft never called me back for this. This scammer is probably trying to get money out of my account plus when i blocked them the first time they called me on a different now they called me again on this number.
