Left a voice mail that only said Hello before hanging up.

Left message saying they were my union health plan and needed to make a dr appt

Someone  called and left a message around  7:30pm from 'Anovalon' on behalf of my health plan wanting to discuss important information.

I got the same message - calling on behalf of my health plan. I called them and they wanted my phone number, then my name, then my date of birth. I said you called me you should have my info. I’m not giving my birthdate, I’m not giving out anymore of my private information because I don’t even know who you are. And she wouldn’t tell me why they were calling or what they did. Said she needed my info first. When I said I wasn’t telling her my DOB she said have a nice day and hung up. I called back and asked what they do and finally I found out that they are done company that does virtual doctors visits. They are calling to set up an appointment for you to have a virtual doctor’s visit with one of their doctors. She said the health plan should have sent a letter telling us that they were calling. I didn’t get a letter. I’m not giving this company my personal info. I’m not using their Drs. If I decide I want to use them then I would be calling them not them calling me. We don’t even know if they have good doctors or positive reviews. They don’t have good reviews from their employees.

On 06/04/2020 - Someone claiming to be from the American Postal Workers Union health plan called and said they were encouraging health care visits to stay healthy, blah blah blah.  I have NEVER been called by the APWU before and was immediately suspicious. Sure enough, the next thing the female caller did was to verify my date of birth by havine me give her my date of birth. I simply said, "No. I'm not doing that." She said she understood about not wanting to give this information over the phone and quickly hung up. This call came in while I was at work and it was an interruption and total waste of my time.

I received the same call. Supposedly apwu. Same speech about them managing my health care Etc. That seemed odd. I said no thanks. I manage my own health care. Too suspicious.

Left a message about new information pertaining to my insurance AWP. Nope I get any new info through the mail. Scam! Blocked number.

I had the same call "on behalf on APWU."  They wanted my information and to schedule me for an in-person doctor visit that my health insurance has now authorized.  No THANK YOU!

Just had a similar call. Will be contacting the Health Plan about this.

verified with APWU Health Plan director and it is a contractor of theirs. She is aware of the fact they are cold calling and is aware this isn't going over well.

Some how these people got my Cash App info and have been trying to charge me a monthly fee of over $150.

That's what happens when you use that kind of "banking" instead of using a real bank where you have protections and your money is insured.
