Says there's a "formal complaint against you" then says they'll contact the proper authorities...

Don't give them no personal info, and tell them you're gonna report them to the Better Business Borough as well as to the Federal Complaint Department of the United States of America..

Then hang up. If they call again.. Let them know 1 more phone call from them is considered harassment in the US...that you'll press harassment charges.

Sounded like Bubba from the deep south saying you owe money for a pay day loan you never took out. Scam caller.

called my work phone with what sounds like a real woman's voice, but automated voice when giving my name....  and if i don't call them they will call the proper authorities.  what a load of BS, been dealing with this for at least the last year.

I got a call yesterday from 844-369-8857. They were looking for my Ex-boyfriend. I haven't seen that looser in over 7 years and how they even got my number is bothering me. My number is new, I've had it for a little over a year now.

I'd like to find this company and sue them for simply aggravating me and reminded me the looser they are looking for. Ugh damn you recovery support company. May you suffer financial hardship and may your business go belly up for bothering me.

Called my sister in law and said that they neede to find my husband then we got a call today saying that there is a warrant for his arrest

They have now called every person in my family! I tried to look up how to report them, but its not clear what agency deals with phone scams.

Ignore the call and block the number. It's spam. Just freaks looking for a quick payday. Do not answer and if you do, slam down the phone

Theyve called my entire family and practically gave my mother a stroke. I called and they had my maiden name(married 4 years ago) and an address from 12 years ago. I threatened to contact the BBB, the local authorities and FTC. They had a muffled line and all; I have called the company i did the loan with, and have documentation that it has paid off and its also nowhere on my credit.

Said they were searching for Casey Zarnecky??? No clue who that is. I asked who was calling and how they got my number...they wouldn't tell me. He said why are you asking so many questions and then hung up.

Its from a company named Recovery Services. They are in violation of UDAAP.  Collectors can’t call people and make threatening statements that would make them think they are going to get in criminal trouble due to an unpaid debt. So file a complaint.
