The caller said my name was being entered into a readers' sweepstake contest, and the prize would be $25,000.  Then, they asked for my birth date.  When I refused to divulge this information, the caller wished me a good day and terminated the call

This number call me 3x for 1 day..i dunno who they are..sometimes they use 833..

The caller said my name was being entered into a readers' sweepstake contest, that i would receive a free diamond watch and have a chance to win $25,000. They asked for my address and when I said no, the lady replied with, "Ok byyyeee". Is this for real or is it a scam?

The next step in the scam is to ask you for your card number, or ask you to send them money "for shipping the prize" or similar lie.

Called me 4 times and when I called back to tell them to screw off they never  answered I called 4 times but they were too chicken to answer there phone

Didn't answer. Called the number & received v/mail asking me to leave name, number & callback time. I didn't leave messages

this number called me several times, first time it just hung up and the next couple times I ignored the call

Received 3 calls from this number. I never answered as I never answer 800, 888 or any numbers starting with the first 3 digits 888n 800 or 8xx since I know they are either advertising or collections which I don't have nor care. If they really want to reach me then they can call direct.

This number calls everyday  i am getting tired of it i. Dont answer because when i checked this is someone using all kinds of promotions  how do i get rid of them?

Called 4 times in the past 24 hours. I haven't answered as it is during working hours. Called back - and it's a voicemail saying 'thanks for calling' (no company name). I've blocked the caller

Called 4 times in 24 hours all during working times. When you call back it doesn't ring it goes directly into a voicemail loop recording that says Thank you for calling (no business name given). All of our representatives are currently helping other customers.

If this is a scam I received it. They try calling everyday asking for my birthday aso well as occupation

They are annoying and probably a scam.... Did not answer when I called back and I did not leave a vmail.
