Received call from this number 2 days in a row, I blocked this number right away. we may have recieved calls from this number before. We don't use Telus anymore, but never did anything about it till today. Hubby thinks it is a scam and so do I. Another number I noticed is 709-501-5858.

Got a call, just now, from 1 844 372 1809. I didn't answer and no message was left. I blocked my number and called it back, and it's the Koodo-Telus [***], trying to "upgrade' my package to 12gb of data, for a post-paid account. I'm on a prepaid plan. To switch to post-paid, they want a government ID, your banking information, and to do a credit check. Why would I want to change tolhe payment plan or give them even more information when my phone, as well as my mum's, sister's, and nephew's phones keep getting our fkn calls dropped, at random time? We could be talking a few seconds, a few minutes, or even an hour or more and fkn calls keep fkn dropping!!

This number calls I say “Hello” instead of an answer there’s a strange tone at that point I immediately hang up and check my security apps. My apps say there’s no strange activity but it still pisses me off not sure what they’re trying to accomplish are they trying to hack my accounts, clone my phone or scam me for long distance charges?

They claimed they were from Telus.

Answered call they said they were from telus to try to g et me to switch my internet to....There is some debate whether its a real telus s ales rep or a  scam,,,idk myself

Fraudsters pretending to be telus, get mobility account holder to sign up for new phone, later say there was a mistake and have you mail the phone to them, then you are still on the hook with Telus and they've sell the phone.
They even recorded the Telus message so if you call them back it makes you think it is Telus.
Telus has been trying to get this USA number shut down since May 2024.

There should be no debate. TELUS is aware and has been trying to get this fraud # shut down.

I received a phone call from 1-844-372-1809 today at 5:49pm. I didn’t answer it because I didn’t feel like it and I didn’t recognize it being a real Telus number. I’m glad I didn’t answer this call because I feel it was just another scammer.

No need for them to phone  - don’t deal with Telus so didn’t answer and won’t.

Telus. They want the $$$ that they'll say you owe 😏

Received a call a few moments ago from 1-844-372-1809.  It popped as "spam", and there was no one there when I answered.  Thanks to you awesome folks, I've now blocked the number.  Thanks!

Been calling for a while now. Said hello. Eventually they spoke. Couldn't hear them. Said I'd go to quieter area. They hung up.
