Just got a call from this number with a weird recording message. I think it's a scam.

I just got a call from this number with a message about debt collection, tried calling back had weird message

Called me and left a wierd voice mail.  What was wierd isn't didn't mention any company or a name.

It's a scam.  They are using Me N Ed's Pizza in an attempt to steal money from people.  They claim a company hired them to collect returned checks.  Did not have any information regarding location where check was bounced, check #, name of bank or date.  Told them to take me off their call list.  I then called Me N Ed's Corporate office in Fresno, CA and gave them all the information.  This was a number they did not know about, but all of the calls are from North Carolina.

Scam.  Trying to collect on a debt that does not exist.  Person on the phone threatens that if you do not pay over the phone they will be sending someone to the house to serve you papers on the debt.  They use Me n Eds as the business that they are collecting for.  I called Me n Eds Corporate and they confirmed it is a scam.

They called me from this number and said they would report me to the credit bureau if debit was not paid . And to call back .. but didn't leave company name or what the debit was from ... weird .. I think it's a scam ..

SCAM they have been calling me and they called my sister looking for me. She spoke to them and they told her they search for your family members and call them. Makes sense if it is MeNEds, I order pizza from them often. Maybe not any more...

I received this email and call from same detailed scenario stating almost exact verbage from this lady and supposedly a check i wrote in 2006...Hello...Its 2015. But my check was supposedly $43.15 and they wanted $2986.00 but would settle today for $611.90 without a warrant issued for my arrest.  Really????  Its 2015 everyone uses their debit card to buy pizza. I tried to call the number that was in the email which was 404-343-4060 and also fax # 843-410-5583 no address or anything else except the name ameritime solution at the top all skewed.  I ignored the email after i couldnt reach anyone only to have a charge on my business account for the amount that matched the email amount they were "settling" for.  I've reported to fresno pd and chase bank and all three credit bureaus for security measures.  Chase was gracious enough to refund the money to me but i'm pissed to say the least.  Can't these people get a real job instead of living off us hard working people!!!  So creepy people are able to obtain your personal and private banking info.

What is our government doing about this type of crap??? Huh?
