FRAUD!!!! They claimed to be calling from SCEdison - wanted me to make a same day payment to avoid disconnection. I called SCEdison to confirm account balance/status. There was a zero balance, and no disconnection pending.  ALWAYS CALL THE COMPANY TO CONFIRM INFO!

My employee got the call and of course freaked out.
She called me and I told her I pay the bills automatically.
Had to send her a picture of the payment to calm her down...

SCE should be informed that these guys are calling SCE customers posing as SCE. And it's a very poor deception.

I got a from this number 8443815798 claiming to be So Cal Edison saying that I was due for same day disconnection due to an unpaid balance. When I started asking questions about my payment history they couldn't answer them. Then the floor manager Frank Williams got on the phone and wanted me to go to Rite Aid and load funds into a prepaid card called Money Pak, and call him so I could transfer funds to avoid disconnection. That's when it started sounding really sketchy.

Let's see...if it were a real company/business wouldn't that be embezzlement? But not to worry, it's just a scam and in a scam anything goes.

Account balance scam...Call the company or have them email you a statement

Got  a call from this number just like the people above and demanding payment called them back and they said they were sce I said i dont think so and the guy said hay [***] pay your bill now there is no question it is a scam.

I got a message saying that my service will be shut off today so I called back the Google number for Southern California Edison and verified my account is paid up. I called back the number and suggested that maybe they had my Edison account mixed up with another address so I gave another address and was put on hold and they came back and said you know you're right it is the other address. Turns out the other address has no account with Southern California Edison only Department of water and Power. Has to be fraud
