This is the second day 'Angela Richardson' has called. This gal is beyond rude! The first time left a message for my husband concerning a supposed employee named Nadia Kiefer and a case number. The number given to call them is 844-384-3301. My husband's employer has no such person on the payroll. We called back, she spoke to hubby and we thought this was over. Caller ID said call was from Efficient Communication 253-217-4290, so a completely different number. Today she calls again and when I asked her why she's calling again today her tone escalated quickly claiming she only left a message yesterday. If reminded her she called us already. Then she claimed the call was not noted. And how is this our problem? Of course she will place us on their don't call list. We'll see...

Careful folks.  Just got a call from this individual regarding my ex-husband who I divorced in 1988.  Clearly a scam.  Do NOT return her phone call.

This person has called me and other members of my family regarding me. Claims it is in regard to a civil suit of some type and gave phone number 844-384-3301 to return call. Return call resulted in answering machine with no company information provided. No company name has been provided for any of the calls and male caller identifies himself as a “compliance officer” notifying me of the civil suit against me. He states that once the matter is released from his office it will become part of public record. Very suspicious. If I ever speak to a person, I will not be providing any personal information.

Received a call that was supposed to be about a family member - she said that they have not been able to reach them and that it was a civil matter - that once the case is filed they will not be able to stop it and that it will be public record. So, I tried calling the number and it didn't say who or what the number was but to leave a message. This is not how this is handled. This is a huge scam.

One of the tricks they use is to call your family, friends, neighbors and/or places of employment (past or present or both) to create panic and embarrassment so that their intended victim calls them and they can scare that person into paying their extortion money.  They often call people that have never even been associated with you because they get erroneous information off of the internet.

First, you should make a complaint at this Federal Agency, and while there you should also read up on how debt collection is supposed to work as well as what your rights in this matter are: https://www.consumerfinance.gov/

Same as all others here, called from a different number but gave me this one to call. Clearly a scam. Do not call back don't waste your time with these people.

Diane Slaughter left msg from 804-326-4766, said I needed to call re an old family member.  Said they were filing a case against him/her and gave me case #.  I did not recognize the # as a case prefix in any court around here. (I am atty).  I called the number given, the-3301#.  They wanted me to call the family member and tell him/her to call them at the ...-3301#.  I got them to clarify that the case # was just their internal filing # not an actual legal docket #.  I told them to just put a summons on her door and got hung up on.  They didn't even ask to verify address or anything like a real collection agency would.  No creditor disclaimer given.  They just wanted me to call and tell a 3rd party to call them.   Very weird.  Don't know how they make money off that type of scam?  Why not call her directly?
