Some nonsense about a case being filed. Scam.

A case being filed against me and the papers needed to be served.

Got a voicemail from a lady about a location order on me to serve legal papers.  Telling me to call 844-384-7585 or she will come tomy home or place of employment.

There was no caller ID and I received calls on 6/5 and 6/6.

So what happened?

Got a call about some legal papers

Debt scammer.  No one gets a heads up they'll be served - that would defeat the purpose of catching you unawares, wouldn't it?  Real process servers also do not tell you to call another number - they are paid ONLY to deliver those legal documents to you.

They have been calling everyone on my contact list in my phone it seems. They reached me and said I had court docs and summons for court to be delivered in 2 days. I could avoid if i paid. Told them to show up with paperwork or handcuffs cause they we're obvious scamming.

Don't believe them..its old debt. Don't let them scare you. All you gotta do is not respond and they will be onto the next person. I do what they do..they have scary voicemails..they need to change that..no wonder people call in upset. Not mad. Just do better. Tell ur owner to get a new number.. (:

my boyfriend and my daughter got a call about me from this #. The voicemail was rude and almost intimidating, especially to her making it sound like she was in trouble. I google the # I this is what I find, what is the actual business name? I need to nip this in the butt now. thank you.

So far, no one seems to have posted the "actual business name". What did they say on the voicemail you received?
Oh, and the phrase is "nip this in the BUD" not "butt". Just FYI.

funny thing is...the person who left the voicemail was the same thotty who answered the 844 # but they " dont make outbound calls" the liesssss

They told me Alliance and Associates

No one showed up. This is a scam. Scammers don't show up at your home or work, they just try intimidating you over the phone into paying. Block and ignore such calls.

I called them back and they said they will transfer me.It was the same lady who called and said she was going to serve me.  Must be an old debt. I don't owe anyone any money. I told them I'll have donuts and coffee when they arrive.
