The message they left was a computer voice talking about oweing money to the IRS. As far as I know, I don't owe anything.

That I  owe the IRS. Which is fails.

One of several numbers calling and claiming I owe money to IRS, which I don't.  Saw segment on TV about these scamming calls going around.

These middle eastern stupids are calling people around trying to take away your hard earned money.
Don't let them do that report these numbers.!

This people are calling me saying I have a law suit  from the IRS and if I can pay 3 thousand dollars right now over the phone  . And never received any notice  or paper work  about this issue.

A Pete guy called me and told me I owe the IRS money. I knew he was a scammer and told him he was. He got defensive and hung up on me. I kept calling back and someone would always answer stating "IRS"..If it was the real IRS they wouldn't answer, they would put you on hold for a very long time. They kept getting angry at me because I kept calling and calling back. I told every single one of them who answered to get a real job and quit harassing American citizens. We need to all keep calling them back and tell them where to shove it!!!!

Told me i had a law suit against me.  But the message was from a robot. They called my cell phone.  I knew it was a scam and blocked the calls from this number

Roger Clark of IRS TAX & Audit Badge #572913, Case # IR-16-63972 -- Said the IRS has already decided to take me to court for $3,726 dollars for 2011-2015 and that they are suing for $75,000. Threatened that the IRS will freeze my accounts and inform my employer.  Had me going for a second (that dollar # sounded like a number that I used in my taxes this year).  Put me on hold to talk to his superior on me settling during that time I looked the number up and found this site.  Thanks to all of you who have added to this as it helped me greatly.  When he came back on I raised the scam aspect and he got nasty and said I can expect the authorities at my house within the hour. :P

Fake IRS agent asking for money.

Said I owed money and that an IRS agent would be at my door within the hour.

I owe the IRS, ahhh no i don't, trust me they would not be calling me.  I would received a letter from them.

Get calls like this every two weeks. So tired of these people. The first one same two years ago and I am still here. lol

Received a robot voicemail from this number on MARCH 9, 2016. Called back and the person answered the phone "Internal Revenue Service." Told me his name was Michael Brown and gave me some fake ID number. He told me the FBI was recording this phone call, the IRS was seizing my assets and I would be charged with intentionally defrauding the government. He asked me to stop interrupting him whenever I would ask him to tell me what address was associated with my name. He got annoyed during the phone call and told me I could settle in court for 95,000 and that I originally owed ~3100. And he added that the authorities would meet me at my home address within 45 minutes if I didn't agree to the terms. When I asked him to tell me my address, he said he was going to call the local deputy. He put me on hold and then the same person tried to deepen their voice and tell me they were the Sheriff.

This is where I hung up.

I just received the same call from Roger Clark from 844-385-9045 and said I owe $3726?!!!  Told me they mailed me notices twice to the address that I used to have 5 years ago.  He said someone will come to my house in an hour!  What a joke?!

sad part is this scam has been told on the internet,newspapers,tv talk radio and people are still falling for it. the IRS send notices not calls and if there going to seize bank accounts and assets they do it then tell you or your bank calls
although i saw one locally a seemingly intelligent man paid but my suspicion he did file tax incorrectly and thought he got caught
