It's Comcast Business and it's an official call. Not a spam or telemarketer.

CID does not say Comcast, and we have had spoofers pretending to be them before.We have no pending business with Comcast anyway.

Calls all the time, never leaves a message. When I called back, lame computer recording indicates Comcast in a very strange voice. I call BS!

SCAM ALERT!!!Calls to say it's Comcast Business.  They say our modem model has been recalled and they want to set up a time to replace it.  I asked for a call back number, they gave me 844.389.9605.  I called the Comcast Business number off of our bill and they said our modem is fine and that they didn't call us.  I gave them the number.  The owner read something that someone had their modem replaced then they found out that the "new" modem allowed someone to access their network and see all company information.  This is a SCAM!

claims to be Comcast wanting to remove my Modem unless I pay extra.  Whispering female voice, broken English

Said they were from Comcast Business and need to schedule modem replacmenet in my place of business.  Had all my account info, including recent payment history.  Scheduled to come by and swap modem next week.  After hanging up, I called Comcast Business directly and help desk said they have no record of a tech scheduled to come by, and no idea why my modem would need to be replaced.  Called Comcast Security, and received same feedback, although they couldn't seem to explain why caller had my information.  Sounds like a complete breakdown in communication at Comcast, or a data breach that they don't want to admit happend.  Neither would surprise me.  I'll be armed and waiting for installer, and unless I can get direct confirmation that they are legit, they risk being shot if they try to enter my house.
