Received three calls three days in a row...

This number called at 8:25 p.m., and left no message. I rather block it.

The caller, Out of area ( displayed as ID on our phone.), called us 18:28, 11.19.2015. We opted not to answer  unwanted call on the spot.per www.ftc.gov ( www.donotcall.gov ) suggestion.. I returned  the call hiding our number. A lady  lengthy message: Thanks for calling Big brother & Sister Service.. for car donation... please call back during business hour. central time ". It didn't say " I can leave a message for Do not call.". I am in Pacific Time zone.
Caller: Out of area.

11.16.2015 , I received a " Out of area " , number used 844-259-0566, which we didn't anser.
Caller: Out of area.

I did not answer but called the number back (dialing *67 first).   the recording said it is big brothers/big sisters pickup service

We opted not to answer  unwanted call on the spot.per www.ftc.gov ( www.donotcall.gov ) suggestion.. I returned  the call hiding our number. A lady  lengthy message: Thanks for calling Big brother & Sister Service.. for car donation... please call back during business hour. central time ". It didn't say " I can leave a message for Do not call.". I am in Pacific Time zone.

This number has been calling our homephone for the past month or so. Nobody on the line.  Same Big Brothers message when I call back

The caller, Out of area ( displayed as ID on our phone.), called us 13:19, 12.21. .2015 for 3rd time. We opted not to answer  unwanted call on the spot.per www.ftc.gov ( www.donotcall.gov ) suggestion.. I returned  the call hiding our number. A lady  lengthy message: Thanks for calling Big brother & Sister Service.. for car donation... please call back during business hour. central time ". It didn't say " I can leave a message for Do not call.". I am in Pacific Time zone. Los Angeles District Attorney is  looking for " Those car donation bossiness."
The caller has called many out of state of Illinois for more than 3 year. I don't know why FTC or FCC can't find & fine them for big money?

You cannot hide your number on a toll free call.  Since they are paying for the call they are entitled to the information.

The caller, Out of area ( displayed as ID on our phone.), called us 12:23, A.M.,12.24..19 for 4th time.. . I opted not to answer on the spot per FTC suggestion.returned  the call hiding our number. A lady answer. asked her why she didn't take Christmas vacation. & I told her that I told them please remove our number from its' calling list again. And have a happy holiday. " . It is a car donating program in Illinois or Missouri.

Once again, the 844 area code is a toll-free number and you cannot hide you call from them.
