Threatening legal action, must call now or he can't help me, etc.

Says hes from the CRA and needs me to give him my tax records and information or there will be legal actions taken..... I later called the rev canada agency , and asked if they knew anything about this. They told me no... also previously, i haf already spoken with the rev agency already. So this phone call makes no sense! Full on scammers . I will fking track them down and kill every single one of THEM

Thank you to the other posters for sharing!  I just got a voicemail from this number and was worried at first.  Delete & ignore.

Also had the same message saying there will be legal actions. They end the message saying: "Good luck with that".

number is a scam, I called back to [***] with them and they ended up hanging up. lol

Got a voicemail from this as well at 12:48 Atlantic standard time May 15. Same type of message as above.

Guys called me saying they were going to threaten legal action against me had a file, I asked them for a file number and they couldn't give me that then asked for my address since if they have a file against me for "fraud and tax evasion" that they'd have a court case number and file number and I can check with the courts he kept evading and said he could track me I told him tkctonwhich he put me on hold and hung up. Called back saying I was lawyer he told me to stop messing around I replied "once you stop scamming people" scam avoid and delete

Also had this message in Edmonton, could hardly understand this guy except the #. I guess these people need to get a life and find a real job..

Had the same message. Very threatening, kind of a rough New Jersey accent. Said his name was 'Officer Blake Williams' (yeah right).  I wonder where they got my contact information? Funny thing is that I am currently in the middle of an appeal with CRA so all of my files and information with them are up to date as I am working with a lawyer to address the issues. The manner of threatening tone (i.e. 'or else') is unacceptable. I did try to call back but the number said it could not receive calls.

My father has been receiving calls from this number too.

Given the number of reports, definitely a scam.
Same name was left on his voicemail, Officer Blake Williams.

I have received two voicemails from this # today saying exactly as stated in previous posts (officer Blake Williams, and very threatening). I will block from now on!

Also got this message today and glad to see this forum stating its a scam.

Just received a voicemail message from the same number claiming he was an officer and that we should return the call or have our lawyer call back or there would be legal action.
He was kind enough to wish me good luck!

Threatening message that I need a lawyer without precision on any issue!? with a heavy  southern accent (little creole) saying It is from  officer Blake William (this women seems to be soooo busy) , if it was from my country they would at least use the my official language. What a joke , is there really someone falling for that scam? sincerely be ware.

Same call as everyone else, but my "officer Craig Williams " had an Asian accent that made me laugh out loud.....

Just got this call. Couldn't get a word in edgewise. We were all listening on speakerphone and laughing. It was obviously a recording. My brother in law got this call a few weeks ago and called him back. He argued with him because Mr. William's needed information from him and my brother in law kept saying well if you are who you say you are you know the information already. William's hung up on him. So he called him back again. And then he hung up. And he called again and He hung up again. Let's hope this dummy stops calling. He is clearly NOT from the CRA. Don't be duped by this scam.

Just got this, the guy had a thick accent that I couldn't really understand threatening legal action and told me to get an attorney, glad it's just a scam bc I was hella confused, like I never leave the house what did I do????
