No call but an email from "Manny Mims", saying they've tried reaching me at my mailing address (old address - we've moved) and to call (the number listed is 844-413-0418) asap.  I have not attended college and never took out student loans.  The email address is a "hotmail" address and professional companies do not typically use these types of addresses.  This is a scam.

Email by a student loan department. Told to call the number 84‎4‎‎‑4‎13‎‑‎‎041‎8. Hotmail email with a bunch of gibberish as a name. This is clearly a scam. They used my old address. Pretty smart. However, this is indeed a scam. Said I had 1 MORE DAY till my case gets thrown out. Even though this isn't the 1st email they tried. Becareful out there. THIS IS A SCAM NUMBER. CHECK THE EMAIL ADDRESS.

“Hello this is Darcy Critz on behalf of the Student-Loan Debt Department. We tried to contact you at your home xxxxx and did not hear back. Your Student Loans have been marked as possibly eligible for forgiveness under the new 2024 guidelines. Your case number is #10628, and your file will remain open in my system for only one more day. If you could please give your dedicated eligibility line a call at: (8‎44)‎‑‎‎‎4‎13‑041‎‎8.”  This is clearly a scam, but very official looking. No one but your loan services should be contacting you. Nice try.
