I keep getting text messages to check the my account on the portal. They don't say who they are or what portal. They show a user name for the portal that is my screen name miss spelled. The number dumps in coming calls.

This happened to me today too, Sept. 23, 2024. So they have our phone numbers and email addresses. But no mention of business name (sounds like medical office but I think is a scam).

That website has been up since 2017.  That link takes you to TH Neurosciences, a Dec. 15th appointment with Dr. Scott Callahan, DO.  Now there is no way for me to know if you had the same appointment with the same practice since you did not post the link.  However based on the other link it seems to be legitimate.  I'm sure you know what medical appointments that you have so you could check with that Doctor to see if the link is correct.

Sent a message in Spanish (which i don't speak), customized with my first name, about an appointment at SSC Seattle, with a vague threat about being charged if I miss it.

Long url from msg.fm included, will not copy it here.

Probably a scam.  I recently received notice of a data breach from a medical provider.  Looks like the scum out there are trying to use it as a lead.

After checking my calendar, this corresponds to an appointment I actually do have.  The big scary link was legit.
No idea why it was in Spanish.
Not a scam, just bearing all the warning signs.

This is a legitimate number. It is a service that some medical practices use to inform patients of appointments. I like others thought it was a scam when they called so I didn't answer. When they started texting I realized it was legitimate. I spoke to a staff member at my doctor's office about receiving the text instead of a call and she told me they hire a service to do the appointments. Two of my doctors with different specialties use the service. I don't answer any calls from numbers I don't recognize and have a call block on my phone. With all the scams going around, I applaud you for being vigilant but I agree with BigA. If you know that you went to the doctor or have an upcoming appointment,  just give your doctor's office a call to verify.
