left a message of arrest

received a recording when I answered saying they ere from Revenue Canada and that a law suit has been started against me if I didn't pay what I owed. it said to call the # back and make arrangements or there would be a warrant issued for my arrest. I looked up the # and it is a U.S # which would not be a Revenue Canada #. Idiots. Scammers.

Just got the same kind of dumb message left on my answering machine....threatening to issue an arrest warrant.....ya right. this is a US number.....I'm in Canada. Idiots! lol

I got the same message from (844) 447-4450.  Called the number and told the guy he was breaking the law, that he was a scammer and that all he wanted was my money, and that he did not represent the CRA.

Apparently this is a common scam.  It is a voice message from a US phone number saying they are from Revenue Canada and that an "arrest warrant" will be issued against me - or whoever answers the phone I guess, since they do not ask for anyone by name.  Although it is a pathetic attempt to scam people, I am concerned that some gullible person might be bullied into giving them money.

I just received the same message from 1-844-447-4450.. They don't ask for anyone by name, just a horrible voice threatening that "an arrest will be made in your name  if we don't call back".. (whose name I don't know)....I blocked the number, but saved the message.. in case I have to report it to police...

I received a message first on my phone --  telling me I had been named in a lawsuit and would be arrested if I did not return the call . The man claimed to be from Revenue Canada and said I was being audited -- would be facing criminal charges for fraud -- he spoke very quickly, seemed annoyed and claimed to pass me through to his supervisor who sounded remarkably like the first man I spoke to -- it was most convincing and upsetting --

They are so persistent! They have called my house phone so many times within the last couple of months and called my husbands mobile phone as well!

Re: nuisance calls-- in this case 1-844-447-4450..... Block the number like I did and forget and forget about it... but you are right they do sound very convincing...  here where i live to block a number you dial *60 and follow directions.. No one has the right to upset someone else..

This number keeps calling saying there is a law suite but. OT who it's against when u cal back it puts u on hold for the next available person. Canada revenue agency

Yes it is a scam. Second time it happened to me. I called back in the hopes of talking to someone. Instead I had to leave a message, stating, "Take one of your improvised explosive devices and shove it up your S*** N***** a**." Then I blocked the number. If I have to tell you what the *'s mean, then you don't get why these parasites are scamming us for money.

CRA will never issue an warrant for your arrest for unpaid taxes, nor leave a recording on your phone.

I received the same message today, September 26, 2016 on my home phone voice mail.  Message was threatening to issue an arrest warrant if I didn't return the phone call.  I will report the number and ask Bell Aliant to block the number.  This isn't the first time, this has happened over the last 6 months.  However, sometimes it's a different voice message but they are always computer generated voices leaving message and they obviously don't speak very good English.

In early September I got a call on my landline that there was a lawsuit against me with the computerized voice caller leaving this phone number: 1-844-447-4450

The computerized caller threatened that if I did not call back I would be arrested.

When a callers to my phone number do not identify themselves or provide the name of their organization they will be ignored.

I will assume this is a scam but will call the RCMP to report the law suit allegation and threat of arrest.

They call threatening that I am going to be arrested if I don't call them back because I owe them money. They claim to be Canada revenue agency.

Threaten Law Suit and arrest

Received the same message on my phone claiming to be canada revenue and said their was an arrest warrant and to call back. They did know my name and asked for the name of my criminal lawyer because of unreported earnings.

OMG...I feel like she's overdone it on the sales...EVERYDAY I get at least 2 emails indicating to purchase. I now will never buy another one again...cause now the texting and calling ontop of the emails I keep unsubscrbing
