they called when I was working and lm for someone who had used me for a reference at a ck cashing & loan place more than 4 years ago.
the messed up part is that she has the same first name as i do and the people who have called me over the years don't believe that she and i aren't the same person! . needless to say she never paid back the loan  and I'm not even friends with her anymore because she owes me money also.

Left msg at my in laws for me, but have never left a msg on my phone, said it’s regarding an acct but when I called back the woman answered the phone with “this Jennifer Grey”. No business name

I was working.  Answered with the company name and a lady said "Oh! I'm sorry. I dialed the wrong number. " She politely hung up. Never asked for anyone,  so how did she know she called wrong #?

Expecting a scammer. So I affected deep male voice. Caller asked for someone in a garbled voice. I've been through this before. I couldn't understand what they said, so I immediately replied with a blunt "You have the wrong number." They immediately said their goodbye and disconnected. Somewhat similar to the above description.

Said they are with SRS or something like that.

missed the call, they left a message that's incomplete, saying lack of cooperation & i'm accountable for something i have no idea about

Called and left a message saying that some papers were going to be filed in a few days and they are SRS and for me to call if I want to be included in the decision process. Total scam.
