Yes I've had a woman calling and insisting that our business won't show up without renewing our "account".  I had no idea what she was talking about so asked her to call back after I looked into it. Low and behold she called back this morning and after I told her that "Google My Business" is a free service, she still insisted that it was free for only a year.  Then she tried to say she was referring to another account.  I asked to speak to her manager.... no luck of course. I had someone "from Google" come into my store last year doing the same thing in person.  Same claim and same price. $498. Paid up front one day only as it was "a deal".  He said he would take pictures and upload them so people could see inside and outside our store. I told him I wasn't interested and in fact have already made changes to our listing. Both scams.

Received a call from a woman this morning from 1-844-458-1066 claimed our ad we requested last May 2016 has expired and it was good she was able to reach me regarding payment.  Told her it was absolute rubbish as we don't advertise, she was going to forward our account to the business department.  She knew my husbands name, so beware if they can get a little information on you they use it.  Total scam!

Got it too. I am so naive, as I thought it may be for something hubby inadvertently did.  It was about his business...from 15 years ago. He's got bad Alzheimers now and would be clueless. I told them I don't want any listing, and gave them a wrong E-Mail address to send bill too, but they called several times from several numbers and from skype, and from "Coperate Office" Huh? LOL! Do they mean Corporate? Area codes in Georgia, Florida and California, fluent English female(s).

Have been receiving calls from this number and another one saying the same thing; google listing etc etc. I contacted a lawyer online and she could not find anything regarding this business called "submit listing" with an address in Ontario. I responded to their email with a suggestion from the lawyer who could not find any info on the company "your daily calls and emails are harassment. If you think I owe you sue me and we will let a court decide"

Had a call from a woman asking for someone who no longer works for us and had nothing to do with advertising. I asked how I could help and told her I was the general manager. She talked about an online listing being expired but never said where she was calling from or that it had to do with Google. I told her we had another company that took care of our website, she told me she would call them and hung up on me before I could tell her no and to take us off their list.

Got a call this morning asking for a lady who sold the business to my family more than six years ago when I stated that they are no longer around she said she needed to talk to someone in charge about a marketing ad. I told her that the boss wasn’t in at the moment she then asked for my bosses private cell which isn’t to professional. Then when I told her that I can’t give out his number she hung up on me.

Was called by a woman at this number asking for my manager. When I asked who it was and what it was regarding the woman became belligerent, refused to provide a company name, and hung up.
