Had a message on phone . Call came from 1 # but told me to call the 644-458-1857. From Lorainne Carter #5527 said I was included in a Back and lawsuit. That my student law, that was in default, could get a student loan forgiveness. I don't have a student loan that's in default. I paid off my student loans.  She left me a reference # for when I call her back. Not doing that. I have the message saved on my phone.

I got the same call. But it was in my voice mail. I have it saved. I don't have any student loans in default. She called from 720-640-7313. But told me to call 844-458-4857. Not calling back

Had voice mail from Loraine Carter #5527. About a student loan lawsuit, even if it is in default. Let a reference # and to call 844-458-1857. But the call came from 720-640-7313. Have message saved.

Received voicemail from 260-209-9181 with following message: "Hello this is Lorraine Carter, Agent 5527, calling to let you know that your student loans have been accepted into the Navient settlement and are now subject to complete loan forgiveness. The great news is, this applies to all loans, even those in default. To apply your benefits and be entered in to the settlement, please call 844-458-1857 now with your reference number 44740".

I called the number and an actual person answered, 3 different times, all speaking English and are American! No accents what-so-ever! Stated they only have a limited time to talk to me otherwise they get in trouble for not hanging up on me! IT'S A SCAM and it's a local one!
