This number keeps calling my cell always different person with threats that they will come to my job, if they were legit then they would know I don't work . Been retired they claim they have been to my home no one has been here we have been home due to the hurricane.

Received a call to my work number. He left a voicemail saying I was left as a reference by a family member. Asked that I return the phone call with reference #2635316.

They called and said had legal document against me.

Called my job and left a message with my supervisor with a name and case#. The person was not there but a Matthew Matayo.. Got rude with me and hung up. Said I owed a bill.

This company will not say what legal firm they are with. which lets you know it is a bill collector.  if you sent something to someone's home, it would be sent priority mail and you would have to sign for it.  This company is a shame and unprofessional.  They constantly ring my phone off of the hook.

They keep calling me after I repeatedly told them they have the wrong number. The caller keeps saying they are a legal firm that will serve legal papers. That right there is a scam, legitimate debt collectors cannot leave private information on a voicemail and if served with legal documents they are to be sent priority mail. I keep reporting them and they still call. Even if you block them they just use a new number.

A rep calling about legal documents if they can't get ahold of me they would continue the course of action there located in Birmingham

They said they had legal documentation, that if I did not attend to, would be considered, "absolute blatant refusal" if I did not comply by the end of the day. First of all, that's not even legal terminology. Secondly, they would have to have you served. Third, they are making it about a property in a town, which I own no property in. Fourth, the name of the company is generic; a guarantee that it's an add or someone trying to get your info. Straight up scam, here!
