UNKNOWN CALLER ID populates on my phone.  The female caller stated in her voice mail message her name is Chris Harris.  First voice mail message stated she was with NES and was scheduled to deliver an affidavit on Thursday and if they were not able to locate me at home they'd come to my place of business and my supervisor would need to be present to sign for me as it was a court related matter that could affect my employment.
OK. Sure.
Received another voice mail message 1 week later from the same Chris Harris, but now she is with Nationwide Express Delivery and is coming to my home tomorrow to serve me papers requiring me in court and if she is unable to locate me she will be coming to my place of business to deliver the papers requiring me to appear in court to my supervisor and only my supervisor would be able to sign for my court papers.  OK.

Call showed up as "private" on my cell, and since I have a silent ringer I did not answer. I got a call from "private"  some time this week but this time a message was left stating that " this message is for so and so "me" and her name was "Michelle Jone" and was with "legal outsourcing services" calling to let me know that I am on a list to be served legal papers on so and so day between so and so hours and mentioned a file number and if I or my attorney had any questions to call the original company or something like that at 844-475-4056 and reference the file number xxxxxxx. and she concluded with good luck!
I think this is a scam because the same thing happed to my mother last year, someone said they would come to her work and serve her but no one showed up just like many people have already reported on here.

Same experience as the above callers.  First they called my home number, then my cell and left a message on my cell.  It came in as a private number and if I don't know who's calling I don't answer because of things like this.  I have to admit it did get me for a second, but then I considered the source, as they say, such as why would someone be serving me legal papers but not identify WHY they are serving me legal papers, and many other questions, so I came here to find out if anyone has had the same issue and lo and behold, there it is.

Wow! I have the same as the others I got a call but instead of them calling me they called my mother and I don't know how they got her number she just got it and they stated that their name was Arthur Perkins one time Jonathan Smith one time and Theresa Andrews another time...red flag those names all sound scamish. Anyways "Jonathan Smith" calls my mother leaving a message stating that he will be at my door the following day between 3 and 3:30 p.m. to serve me some papers Nationwide and if that I was not there that he will proceed with the court actions.. he had a case number and everything so I didn't call the 844 number and spoke to Arthur Perkins who then had all my information asked me for my debit card information and told me that I was to pay $100 every month in order to be free and clear. Family and friends and I also called the the business that he claimed I owed and they told me that they would never have someone come to my door for any reason if I was to owe anything it goes to collections and that's it so then I realized it was a scam be careful guys..
