Got an email about a Mac pc I didn’t order with instructions to call this “Amazon” number if I didn’t order it. I called Amazon at the correct Cust Srvc # and was advised they did not send the email. Don’t click any links if you receive a similar email because this is a phishing email. If you clicked any links, you’ll want to change all your passwords, especially your email password

i just received the exact e-mail...same names and amount.  I got a similar one a few weeks ago informing me they received my order and it was being processed.  I ignored that one.  I'm ignoring this second one also.

I also have received these emails , one yesterday and one today. I know it's a scam.

Got the same. This time it was from Pay Pal to call the number. Pay Pal logos and all, complete with transaction numbers and dates for the purchase of an Iphone7. Payment to someone in Australia. Asked if this was not me, call Pay Pal at this number. I recently made purchase with PP that's what caught me attention

My computer locked up with three pop up screens that froze my computer and an audio message that kept repeating that I needed to call this number because my IP address had been compromised and if I turned off my computer my personal info would be compromised.

Completely bogus pop-up caused by going to a website with a questionable ad server.  Nothing will happen if you shutdown your computer and there is no such thing as a "compromised IP address".  I recommend clearing the cache and history for your browser and installing an Ad Blocker.

And then?  You called them and let them actually give your computer problems or you wisely shut the computer off and then turned it back on to find out that nothing was wrong?  Then I would also hope that you immediately installed an ad blocker so that this never happens again.

I got a windows defender security warning on my computer saying my computer is blocked for security reasons.  Then it says contact Microsoft support at 844-475-4137.  Logo is not exact.

Same thing just happened to my wife's computer.  She was looking up recipes when the pop up show up

i got a lock on my laptop and it told me to call this number to unlock the virus.  I control/Alt/Del and all was back to normal.  although I called the number, they were asking me questions that were irrelevant to my issue  [***] scam

Received an email with my correct name stating someone just purchased an iPhone snd tv on my Amazon account. I should call Amazon at 1-844-413-0297 in order to verify or cancel purchase.
Of course when you call the number whomever answers will give an American name with a super heavy Indian accent. Haha nice try you 3rd world savage!
Now I call them every day, multiple times per day simply to harass them. Lol

Just got a call from 517-260-2010 .  A voice recording left a voicemail saying my Comcast 50% discount was expiring today and to call 844-475-4137 to rectify.  I knew it was a scam and was curios what that number was so looked it up and it led me here.  Beware
