I got the same thing and I admit I called my own  but failed the first time, I called the number and I told them off told them the personal stuff was none of their business and when they were rude I told them to shut up! hung up on them Called my G-------d and got it solved and that's that

 It was like my computer was hijacked by this  Microsoft alert and I called the toll free number on the screen because it said it was a Microsoft number.  I gave him access to my computer through a code that he gave me. When he asked me for my information and he wanted to sell me a firewall service for $300 I got suspicious. He had an Indian accent and he was rude.   I'm not using my computer until I can take it to an IT guy.
