Calls several times a day from early morning until late at night. Never leaves a message. So frustrating!!!!!

Calls all hours.  I refuse to pick up the call and send to voicemail. I finally added to my block list.  Why does it have to be this way.

*Heavy Asian (Indian) accent* Called, I answered. Wanted "verification" of the last four digits of my SSN. I refused, and when I asked what the call was regarding he says, "Your Son" (Mispronounces my sons name and wrong last name). So I said I will only give you my personal information if you can prove that this is a legit "Urgent Personal Matter". He refused so I hung up. Would not tell me the company name.

Another heavy Asian accent wanting to discuss an "Important personal business matter".

I am getting 5 calls a day from 844-475-9134, from early morning to evening. I never answer, and they never leave a message - so annoying. I just blocked it on my phone.

I was referred to this collection agency by CARE Ambulatory Services for a past due bill. The phone number is legit and it is an attempt to collect a debt. I spoke to a nice gentlemen by the name of James Samson and was able to get a discount on the outstanding bill. Although he has a strong accent, the call and the debt were legit.

How do you block them?  My phone doesn't have that option

They keep on calling! Would not leave me alone. I know for sure that "Zee's" comment is not real. They are conspiring to scam with that fake account. The evidence is evident!!!

It may seem legit, but James Sampson is a made up name.  I think you got taken.

Why would you say "James Sampson is a made up name"? There are probably plenty of people named James Sampson. As for the rest of your comment, no, that person didn't get taken, that person was a shill.

Sure, James Sampson could indeed be a real name, but if this is in fact, a real, legit collection agency, why would they call and hang up on people, without saying anything?  Or why would they call, let the call go to voicemail, and not leave a message with a name and a call back number?

I also said it was a made-up name because I have gotten a lot of scam calls where the person says their last name is "Johnson" or Thomas" or "White", "Sampson" just seems like a generic name, too. Also, you're probably right, she may just be a shill.
