Threatening legal action. Failed to provide details.

Left a message regarding an attorney and legal action... ???

Got a call from them today and said I'm a frauding the government lol. I pay my taxes and I'm no fraud! I said I have no idea what your talking about but I don't car and they said Sir I'm going to hang up now.... I said I'm fine with that lol. Now I know who's the fraud!

Called my cell (613 area code). Left message threatening unspecified legal action - only part of message was recorded.

First left a threatening message then when I called back I was told that CRA was accusing me of fraud they went as far as giving me an officer name "Officer Leo Hugo" I asked for a badge number they gave me "19950".  They are pushing the farce very far. It is annoying to think that anyone can just take you for a ride

In your message didn't say anything about Revenue Canada then something about if you don't take action I wish you luck

I hope this is help for anyone that reads this I just Googled cra Canadian Revenue Agency and if you scroll down it's telling you that there is emails and phone calls for fraud so do not respond to the phone call hope that's was helpful

Yes, this is fraud. You can check with the real CRA if you are worried. Just remember, the real CRA would not make calls of this nature,

Same as most. 306 area code and on a cell. Prerecorded call wth the same vague threat ending with the admonition of 'good luck'. IMHO total BS scam. urge any and all who get it to ignore it. BTW Rev Canada only informs people in writing never ever by phone. I speak here from experience.

it's a scam, but one time when I called I got through to an answering service that let me pick by name. someone there is named paul burgs. If you ask for them, they get really shifty and worried and hang up.

Received calls from this number before. As it is unknown, I google the number to find out its nature. The caller is quite threatening.

A male left a threatening message- call back or else! Was difficult to hear exactly what was being said because it was a foreign voice and it was muffled. 100% bs without a doubt. Jan 4 this happened, 242pm.
