Scam, second attempt before sending before magistrate, blah blah blah.

Second call of this nature....I am apparently going to be arrested for past taxes due.  I had this call before from a different number but it's the exact same recording.  First of all the IRS would have contacted me in an entirely different way if I actually owed back taxes so SUCH a scam!!!   I'd love to know who the low-lifes are that are scaring gullible people into giving them credit card information so I could testify at their trial!

Total scam I keep calling them back and they are cussing. Officer Alan has a potty mouth I love to scam the scammers. They say I will be arrested if I hang up within 30 minutes back taxes.

caller said they are from gov't and if I did call them they would like to be me

I received a recorded message stating that I needed to attend to an important matter. The recording sounded automated ,and gave a case number. Toward the end of the message,the caller wished me "Good luck" if I didn't call. Totally unprofessional. I am writing this to shed light on this potential fraud,in hopes that someone else will have peace ,and to expose this demon.

I got this call as well, saying it is the second attempt and wishing me good luck.  I don't owe any money, am disregarding at my own peril.  ;)

I just got a voicemail from this number a few minutes ago, and it was an automated person that if they don't hear from me or my attorney it will reflect on me. And the automated message said I wish you good luck. I hope they catch the person doing this. I'm glad I don't answer my phone if I don't know the number.

I figured that it might be a scam scaring people.

Just got a voicemail from them also very unprofessional and threatening!  "If I don't hear from you or your attorney good luck".  scammers have turned to bullying and scaring people out of money!

Bad move... You could owe a bill you don't even know you owe... could be an old doctors bill for 50 bucks or something... you really should call back, you'd hate to have a small bill destroy your credit just because you didn't feel like calling them right? If you say you don't owe any money, I can only assume that your credit doesn't suck... don't let it hurt you.

Caller claimed to be from the US Treasury Department. I had the misfortune of speaking to (and believing) these individuals at first... They claimed I owed IRS & there was a warrant out for my arrest and if I told anyone I could be jailed for up to five years and blah blah blah... I called IRS and they said that this is common - IT'S A SCAM - and I would not have gotten a tax return if I owed them anything. They put it into writing. No sneak attacks from the government. Also the # didn't match the US Treasury Dept ( which by the way, IRS said wouldn't call for them anyway...) And their accents are so hard to understand. # Blocked, but since I've hung up they won't stop calling!!!

Caller claimed to be from the US Treasury Department.     SACM....  my caller's  named was David Rodriguez with an Indian accent..
