Sent a text message with a fake case number of sorts.

Got the same thing very weird

Text message from out of town area code directing me to call 844-503-4666 regarding a "final notice" with a case number.

Claimed a civil lawsuit from 2007 with some case number.  Scam I assume.

Received a text from  (251) 317-4513 with a case number routing to this number (844)503-4666  for a person name that isn’t me and my old address listed. Most definitely a scam!

I had the same issue only difference was they messaged my daughter the had my name and her stepbrother’s address as well as a case number. So my daughter is like what was this about I didnt even know her stepbrother’s address. I tried calling and it just keeps ringing. Any suggestions on how to report it to someone. Thank you.

These people have been calling and texting friends and family of mine for many years, at home, work and cell phones. I'd say 6-8 years now, assuming it's the same people.

Random text with a case number and refence to someone who does not live with me.
