There is nothing wrong with your TV.  Here is the problem.

Received an email that my Netflix account is on hold and I need to update my billing information. That’s news to me: I don’t have a Netflix account. SCAM!
I googled it and forwarded the email to phishing@netflix.com per the instructions on third website

I received an email with this telephone number saying I needed to update my Netflix account because my payment information was outdated or invalid.  I DO have a Netflix account.  However, I went into my account without going through this email - my last payment posted and a new payment was not yet due.  This is a scam to get your credit card number.

I just received the same message. However, I do have an account but the email address is a dead give away on who sent it.

I have a message from Betflix on my tv stating “unable to process payment.” Is this legitimate?

SCAM ALERT! They are sophisticated scammers fake netflix emails saying i had changed my email and payment information.
They even have fake customer service number to call so you can give them your new info so they can steal from you! BEWARE!

Received scam phishing email.  This number is fraudulent.  Scam email address email sent from netf-aks98ana87sa@stefinch.onmicrosoft.com.  They are not very good, this was a obvious fake notification.

As noted by KitKat report spam emails to netflix at phishing@netflix.

I received a email saying that your email had been changed call or chat to give my card number to verify my account.  They almost got me .I gave my Name they already had my email. I also gave them the last four digits of my card number. Then looked the phone number up.

You should cancel that card.

this a scammer pretending to be netflix. I blocked them immediately.

100% scam.  I called and they said they could not find my email and asked for my CC.

Got 2 “Notification” emails claiming to be from Netflix stating :

This phone number comes up as legit in a Google search, and this email would have looked legit had it not been for the “NetFlix’s”…..

I’m going to see if I can find a way to report this to the real Netflix.

I just received the same email today and found you folks. Apparently this scam has been running for many years.
