- StevenThey did the same to me and then the 5th time the claim to be a medical collection agency but wont send a bill. they just wait two weeks and call back asking for a credit card to settle the debt.
- gdcalled my cell # asking to speak to my wife about authorization on a transaction
- Mary BCalled on our office phone, asking to speak with my manager regarding documents. When I asked what type of documents and what seems to be an issue as my manager is out, Mr. Vivek ( that is how caller introduced himself) said it is a very personal business matter and he can not speak with me , his secretary, as I am not an authorized person and he will try to call back again next week... Looks like a scam

- Validation Required!| 1 replyI've received calls from this number claiming to be a 3rd party collection agency trying to collect a Quest bill. They didn't confirm that who they were speaking with (3rd Party Disclosure), they claimed that they just received the account on 03/28 and when I asked for a letter/validation of debt, they threaten to report my credit. If they are legit or not, I don't know but they are not compliant with FDCPA. Other than reading me the mini-miranda, and asking if they were speaking with so and so, they didn't know if I was the right person.

http://amca-billing.com/contact_form.html - XThey call everyday and when I tried to get information on who they were "Vivek" said it was a private matter and he couldn't discuss with me he needed to talk to my boss. I asked what company he was calling from and he said American Medical (Umm ok) and when I tried calling their number back it's a weird automated message. It says to go on their website to pay www.retrievalmaster.com ... If this was a collections company for a legit comapany that would not be their website. Vivek will get a piece of my mind if he calls again tomorrow.

- BThis company called many times but I missed call. Today I talked with person who said that I owe medical debt and asked me how to pay. I asked him, " where is the amount from?, what insurance do I carry?, what is my address? He never answer and he said that we don't have detail info. I think that whoever need my payment don't make process without official paper work and detail onfo.

- Harassed in KansasI just got a call from 913-380-1642. The guy referenced 844-505-3697 as being a number I could call to reach an
"American" The # on the ID is faked, it says Wathena Ks, which is in the NE corner of the state, and has a 785
area code. I've gotten many other calls that sound just like the same phone center, mispronouncing the name of
the person they are demanding to speak with.
3 calls from the faked number 011-1415-2310022
1 more from 415-231-0022
many others, all faked.
I think some bottom feeding collection agency has hired the same criminals behind the IRS threat calls, the
computer support scams, and Rachel from Account Services to do their calling for them...
Hence the faked numbers.
Probably gets them around the FDCPA rules, since they are in India... i know this because the last guy
admitted it...- Caller: FAKE Number Collections CRIMINALS

- DanReceived a call from this number. Asking to speak with my mother who is undergoing Cancer treatments. I told them I was handling her medical care, they said they could not peak to me or give me details. I told them to go pound sand. The lady on the other end was Indian, with a spoofed number from Florida.

- RolandoThe number I received a call from was a spoofed number clearly, but the number I was given to call back was a non spoofed number. I immediately called the number back and was speaking to a native English speaker. The caller was originally of Indian accent which threw me a bit off, but they confirmed all the information about me. They had my email address, my address and clearly my phone number, they also referenced an account that I did have previously with “Quest Diagnostics” upon calling them back I gave a bit of information as to who I was, and they automatically provided me the information that I had just placed “ a payment has been scheduled for this date in this amount for this bill “ we asked to confirm the identity of who called us and the person on the other line only told us that unfortunately the company has many sub branches and that the number we got a call from could be true. Either way they did not seem rude in any way, able to work with us. I’m not sure if the call was a medical scam number but I’ve put my bank account on high alert to ensure everything will be correctly handled.

- Hugo| 2 repliesA lady named Pranali called my wife’s cel phone, saying it was a call from a collection Agcy and that everything was recorded. My wife put her in the line for me and, like in the real agencies, they asked my wife permission to speak with me about the details of the debt. (?)
They got my wife’s address, ph. # , medical billing (Quest Disgnostics) and even our primary doctor’s name! They are doing their homework right.
As always, I said to her: “I will not do any payments today and I will not give you any payment information neither, you first send me by mail in paper, the nature of the debt, the originator documents and the information of your agency for us to review and confirm it, and then we will make any payment arrangements. She said she will email me everything because they don’t use regular mail anymore (?!!!!) and I said yes; that was my mistake, I gave her my email address (stupid me) and -obviously) I never received any email from her, but now they have more information about us out there. You have to be really careful who you give your information and I was played by this girl.- Caller: No name

- JoeCalled me from number marked unknown.
Said she was collecting for a bill from quest and was trying to help me avoid getting it reported to credit agencies. She gave me a date around the time of my annuals at my doctor and asked for a credit card number. I said that I always paid them direct and I would call them to confirm.
She said she understood and asked permission if she could call me back. I said give me a day to confirm if there is any bill from my doctor.
Called my doctors office this morning and told them of my experience. She said that it sounded like a scam.
I asked her to look me up to find out if I had any outstanding balance. She said yes but it was a very low amount which I immediately took care of. I asked her if there was any chance that quest could have an outstanding balance on me and she told me no, the test they send them is in the doctors name and that I paid at the visit. The balance was just a small amount that I could take care of on my next visit. They didn’t even bill me.
I asked if she would please call quest to confirm.
She called me back within a five minutes saying that quest absolutely had no bill for me.- Caller: Referenced quest
- AnnaJust got a call from 16072030440 claiming I got am outstanding medical bill from collections for the amount over $500 for quest diagnostics. I told them I just had a physical a few days ago and they didn't say I owe anything and my insurance covers it. They saying it didn't and how do I want to resolve this matter. Told them to give me a call back number for my insurance company to get on touch with them and they first refused and asked if they had permission to call me back. I told them sure but still demanded a call back number and they gave me 844-505-3697. They knew my name and address but didn't mail me a bill so think it's spam.
