found this on my Dad’s credit card statement.  For $129.99. He sort of remembers ordering something but doesn’t remember what.  there is another charge to "Total magazine service” as well for $119.80 on the same statement.  He only remembers one phone call.
I believe it’s a scam, or at least a company that takes advantage of forgetful seniors.

What magazine could possibly cost that much money for a subscription?  Dispute the charges with your bank immediately and file a theft report with the police department.

    suspect scam
My mother got a charge on her credit card for $299.99 from this Periodicals Processing IN.  What magazine could possibly cost this much?  This company is taking advantage of forgetful seniors and now they won't answer their phones.  They want a call back number, probably so they can scam again.  Someone needs to put these crooks out of business.

Father received several calls from solicitors selling Readers Digest on 9-5-18. Checked his visa bill and found pending charge for $194.99. Called Visa and submitted fraud complaint, canceled card, and stopped payment on pending charge. Tried to call Periodical Processing phone 844-531-9687 and you can only leave a Message. This fraud needs to be stopped. A subscription for Readers Digest does not cost $194.99

My 87 year old mother has the same, charge only for 59.99.  However, I went through this several m ohts ago with this scam co. and cancelled the card.  I now have to go through the same process.
They keep calling.  I looked them up and this is what I found.  https://www.flbusinessgo.com/gg?utm_term=P14000067758  What are the steps to have them cease and desist harrassing and taking advantage of seniors?

I sent them a certified letter with the little green card attached, filed a complaint with the FTC, my state attorney general, and the Florida state attorney general. I am thinking of suing them also.

People from this number call us every day early and wake us up. Sometimes more than once for the last 5 years!!!!  They say they will keep calling us until we renew our magazines.  We have already renewed our magazines through the publisher.  We've asked for their customer service department and they said they would give it to us after we renew our subscription.  We do NOT need to renew and do NOT want any more calls!!!

Well, you are going to have to take steps in that direction.  First, using the information already posted in this thread you need to send them a certified, return receipt letter (also send it first class and make a notation at the bottom listing the certified number in both letters in case they refuse to sign for it) stating that you revoke all TCPA permissions for them to call you, and also state that you want them to mail you a copy of their written do not call policy that they are required to have and to furnish by law.  Make sure that you add that any future calls will result in you suing them for $500 per phone call. You should then report them using all the information to the following federal and state agencies:

    DNC Complaints:
    https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.
List of State AG’s offices:  https://800notes.com/faq/attorney-general

Use this web site to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):  http://www.consumeradvocates.org/
