We received 2 calls from 8445600722 indicating they were calling from Assurant Health.

I also got a call from 844-560-0722 and 844-560-0718 claiming to be Assurant Health asking me to verify information about a letter I was supposed to have received in the mail.  I didn't give any information to the very rude person on the phone.

I just got the same vm last night and I called back this morning. The number even says Assurant Health when you call back, and I did get a letter last week in the mail. He was very clear I didn't have to reveal any info about my daughter if I didn't wish to. But, stated that their goal is to ensure we know they are encouraging us to keep up with regular physicals for our daughter etc. And, he verified info by telling me the info and asking me to confirm - so he already had all the info on her doctor etc. Seems legit. I still only basically confirmed she has an appt set for her annual physical and her dr's name. Hope this helps.

I received a call from this number last week. The lady said she was calling for Assurant Health about a letter I received in the mail and wanted me to confirm some information. I was in the middle of a meeting and asked for the number to call back.
I called Assurant Health's number from their website and the rep. told me she couldn't find that number in their corporate directory. I haven't called back and haven't received another call from that number.
It could well be that it's from a company hired to do some type of marketing for Assurant Health but the rep's in their CS dept. should be able to have some knowledge of or access to information that would let them be able to assure customers that it is indeed a legitimate marketing call.

It is a scam- do NOT give them any information!!

I am a member of Assurant Health, and they call me once a year, in January.  It's all legit.  It's basically a call to remind you how important it is to have a yearly physical.  Then a verification of my information--nothing that my health care plan shouldn't have to begin with!  She read me what they had on file, and all I said was, "that's correct."  Gave me their member services number should I have any questions on my plan, reiterated the importance of regular check ups, and that was it!

DON'T PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION.  HANG UP!

Received a phone message from "Jessica on behalf of Assurant Health calling with information for you" and asking me to call  back at 844-560-0722.  As my insurance carrier is Assurant Health, I called the number back.  An automated attendant thanked me for calling Assurant Health but the person that answered my call identified himself as working for Inovalon and started asking me to verify private information.  When I asked him why he needed me to verify my information he told me it was so he could remind me to get an annual physical.  He then proceeded, again, to try and get me to verify personal information and data.

I smelled a rat because if Assurant Health needed me to confirm my information, why were they not calling me directly?   Second, Assurant Health already knows I have regular medical exams. They pay for them.

I looked up Inovalan online.  They are a data analytics technology company.

If Assurant really did provide this third party with my personal and medical information I consider it a flagrant breach of confidentiality and privacy.   If Inovalan is mining private data under false pretext, they should be shut down.

I just got a call from 602-384-9808 and a message was left with # 844-560-0722.  The company is Inovalon Inc.  They have been hired by Assurant Health to call members about yearly physicals, lab tests, etc.  They are a legit company. The private information that he asked me to verify was my PO Box, he already had city, state and ZIP and my date of birth, just the year.  If you are already seeing your dr regularly, I wouldn't bother to call back.  If you are somebody who needs reminders about yearly visits, they can set up reminder notices by text, voice mail or email.  He did state that private information would be included.  By the way, your dr's office will also send reminders.

It would be really nice if Assurant would let us know that they have hired this company.  I get a lot of mail from Assurant Health so it is possible I missed a letter.
