SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!! they are full of it. they try to scare with threats of arrest and being served and wage garnishments and jail time. i have fun with these people because they hate it when you call them out on their BS! dont fall for it. they refuse to give any info on the company. no business name. no address, nothing! and they have to do that when requested. dont fall for it. no real company can threaten you like that over the phone. good luck people

That 1-844-560-7649 number called me with the same threats , talking about  having charges placed on me, never did they give me a name or who or what this was for...

They didn't even bother calling my number, they called my sister asking for me, threatening me with 2 fraud charges. For what - working 2 jobs to support my family? My sister has cancer and they scared the *^% out of her with their BS. The guy said he was an investigator with the Sacramento County Courthouse, gave some phony case number. He said his name was Investigator Ron Avery - BEWARE, it is complete BS

They called and threatened me with jail time if I didn't come up with some money. Stated he was an investigator acting like he was a cop. Did not give company name.

I got the same phone call.  I only got a recording.  I know it's a scam but I am worried that they have my cell number, my home number, and my 84 year old father's number....they left messages on all those.  They have my address and the last four digits of my social.  I plan on reporting this to my local police (though I don't know if they can do anything).  These people have TMI.

How can these people be able to scary the hell out of innocent individuals. I am ignoring the voice mail.

thank you all for your posts, got the same call -- 3 times back-to-back, did not answer. they left a vm saying a complaint had been filed against me and to give them a call back.  I have no complaints, no bills.  screw them.  not calling.

Got a call from Ron Avery today, sorry he said he was Detective Ron Avery, scam scam scam! His partner goes by Detective Harris! Don't fall for it!!!!! Report it!!!!!

Dude called me too. I don't think it's 100% scam, since he had a name and a county. Just 95% scam. The person they were trying to contact was some guy who apparently had my phone number a few years ago. I've had a lot of calls for him before, including one from his irate grandmother. ;) So probably this is some bill collector who bought some bad debts from a bank or other financial institution and is now trying to badger people into settling up. But it IS unethical the way they are going about it. They are not identifying the name of their company and they are applying scare techniques, and they are probably lying (since I seriously doubt that any actual fraud complaints were actually filed in this county). I'm blocking the number on my cell phone and forgetting about it.

Same deal they call saying you have 24hrs to respond to 844-560-7649. Called from a Texas number 817-736-7649. He uses different names I've gotten Christopher West, Ron avery, and Richard Harris. Same story each time no one ever comes and arrest mE lol I called the # back tge very first time cuz I wasn't sure what was going on. Claimed I Owed for an old master card Washington Mutual. I bought a house just a few years ago.and had to.pay off my old debt first. My credit report shows it paid $0 owed. They're just trying to bully people into paying closed debts. I picked up the phone (at work) and before I said one thing heard the man on the other end (who identified himself as "Richard Harris") talking to his coworkers about the "bunch of ret*rds." So I took a message (for myself) and then informed him, before I hung up on him, that he might not want to use that word when people might be listening (and his company is supposedly recording the call).
