Who is this number.i just got a call saying it's a lawyer.

I received a voicemail from Tracy asking me to call Wilson Taylor at this phone number, regarding a case against me in my county. She said that she was a process server, calling because a summons was returned to her office from the address they have on file for me. She said I should call Wilson Taylor to avoid being charged with failure to appear in court. I searched, but could not find anything filed under my name in my county.

Recieved a voicemail from a "private number".  Claimed to be from the processor's office (no specific office) stating a summons was returned from the address on file.  informed me I need to contact an attorney "Wilson Taylor" at 844-564-0136, about this summons and the requirement to appear in court. The person leaving the message referenced  a "case or summons #, didn't clarify. Mentioned being charged failure to appear in court and potential other charges or complications from not responding.  A phone number search failed to link to a law firm, lawyer, or a county court office.  The reference @ failed to match any summons #, and didn't meet the case # format.  Also although couple of possible Wilson Taylor names popped in LinkedIn nothing seemed to match up to indicate a possible legitimacy to this voicemail.

Received a call from someone named Katie Harris call on behalf of the Duval county processor office. regarding court documents filed un case number -  the attorney on file is Wilson Taylor with a direct number 844-564-0136

I got the same message I have been at the same address for over 13 yrs I got the call yesterday .

I got the same message. I have been at my address since 1979. Someone is at home 24-7. The caller was very evasive about giving answers. No Wilson Taylor in Lincoln County or surrounding counties. Case number was invalid.

They are attempting to steal your identity, don't fall for it.

Text claims to use a fake "case number" for a non-existent attorney named Wilson Taylor in charge of the case. That's not how this would work.

DO NOT EVER SEND MONEY TO THESE TYPES OF PEOPLE.  YOU DO NOT PAY PROCESS SERVERS UNLESS YOU ARE THE ONE SERVING SOMEONE WITH PAPERS. IF ANYONE EVER TELLS YOU THAT YOU NEED TO PAY THEM TO AVOID GOING TO JAIL AND IT ISN'T IN A COURTOOM IN FRONT OF A JUDGE, IT'S A SCAM!

It's a scammer trying to steal your information. Do not respond to them. Block the number and move on with your life.
Law Enforcement will never send a text message or call you to extort money from you. They'll simply show up with a warrant.
