Guy with Indian accent says collecting debt for American express, I don't carry that card, asked for my social security number.

Keep getting a call from a man with an indian accent, claiming he is with american express

Answered and heard on hold music

Claiming to be with Amex. Spoofed my home number

A woman named Rasha with an Indian accent. Advised I should return her call and gave a bogus ref number. I haven't had an Amex card in four years.

One call every day this week. I do not answer 844-564-2178

Called and left no message, and then text a phone # only. Its the same 844-564-2178 number that called me first.

Left message for me and my ex wife..been divorced 10 years....said to call american express back at this number and a reference number..I think I'll pass on that

Some accented person claiming to be AMEX. Never had an AMEX card in my life

This is the American Express collections number. I called American Express about an old card that had gone to collections and they gave me this number to settle my account.

Some bottom feeder saying they are AMEX. Yep, going to answer the "800" number asap. Then a message on the machine you could hardly understand too boot.

oh I forgot to say that I have had a billing dispute with AMEX going on for over 1 1/2 years. I got all the doc's that prove I an right and all the rep kept saying is we will look into it. In short till they correct their error they will not see a dime of my money.

Machine picked up and they left no message. Like I really run to the phone for an 800 number. hahaha

Never pick up any "800" type numbers, let the machine answer. as always Dead Air/No message so it is not important.

get calls from this number on my machine. Never leaves any message. must be a scammer

Have never had their card.Ever.

Talk to a Hindu girl telling me and asking me about pain American Express that we don't have be careful this might be a scam gave me this number the 844 number area code don't answer any of the questions you have a problem referring to the cops or call your attorney

LMBO, first they had they had my daughters name really, the man in a Indian accent, wanted my SS# LMBO not happing, I said to him do you know my address, because this is a sercirty check, I then asked can you please repeat the phone number that I'm calling from. He replied in a Indian accent, that does not show up on my computer. I then said really I just called American Express to veryify, if I owed money, oh mama I'm sorry that must the wrong account number can I have your ss#, OF course I had to play, the game more. And procecced to drive him nuts with questions he would ask me.  You know it goes, well then I said do you know who you called, he gave me a wrong name I said really. Well then sir, I said Do you realize that this is a FBI agent (not really) just wanted to play games with him, He then hung up the phone.
I called back again and he told me to stop calling his daughter, I said I was not calling his daughter that I was calling American Express.  He said in his Indian accent, no MAMA you called my daughter. I said nope, this is the number I was given on my voice mail.. LMBO at this time.
Just had to have fun.  We need to play there games so they stop calling us all I can say is IDIOT.

Caller with a heavy Indian accent left voicemail msg, claiming to be from American Express, and gave a reference number.  Checked my calls log and did not find that call.  I do not know how they got to my voice mail.  Had a similar call before from a caller with a heavy Hispanic accent.  When he asked for my SSN, I closed the call.

I've been receiving calls from this # for 2 years. Always the same Indian voices (male and female).  They always leave a message for a made up name "Herman".
