Scam call claiming to be repaying fees paid to a company going out of business

no caller ID since they call my cell.

They leave a message.  This is a poorly done computer generated message.  The beginning is cut off since they are too stupid to wait for the beep.  I have reconstructed the beginning from similar reports on other sites.  Their message is "Hello.  My name is Daisy Brunette.  Please, do not hung up.  I am calling you from Windows refund department.  If you remember, you had a contract with us for your computer support and services.  Unfortunately, we are <END RECONSTRUCTION> closing down the business.  You can give a call on our number (844) 564-7653 to get your refund.  Repeat again (844) 564-7653."

Using a computer generated message and poor grammar make me suspect that the caller has a poor grasp of english (likely a foreign scammer).  "Windows" (aka Microsoft) is not going out of business.  If they did, you wouldn't be getting a refund.  I suspect that such a "refund" would require forking over a bunch of information and/or giving them access to your computer.  This allows them to steal your identity/access your bank account/install randsom-ware on your PC.

This is 100% a SCAM.  Don't bite.
