I continue to receive unwanted calls from this number stating that I have an account w/Easy Cash when I do not, I have ask them on numerous occassions not to to call

I have received 3 phone calls in the past 3 hours

Given a callback number from a robocall which starts as "This is a documented attempt to reach you."  It's just a scam attempting to get personal information from you, do not call back

Why and what would they do with personal information?

Same happened to me.

Hung up when I asked who they are

Received two calls each with a voicemail including this number twice in 12 minutes on 04-27-2021. The voicemail starts in an abrupt place.

"... the process of pursuing this matter governed within the laws of your state. Please call 844-598-0894 to speak with one our specialists. Please note, this is a very time sensitive matter and your cooperation is required. Your reference number is [ref number in different voice]. Call 844-598-0894 or press 1 to speak with a live agent. Call 844-598-0894 or press 1 to speak with a live agent."

It's clearly a robocall with some reference number included. They use an apparent "local" number for their outbound caller ID as opposed to the 844 number they seek a call back to. It comes off as a scam where they're attempting to use urgency and legal implications to exert pressure.
