Google search says its United Way--something about utility assistance. Could be a scam, but not sure

They want your gas and electric account numbers so they can switch you with out your permission. You'll still pay your energy provider but you'll also need to pay United Way 211 for their "service" of managing your bill. Scam? Oh yes indeed.
If you want a consistent payment amount each month you can usually sign up for a budget program directly with your energy provider. You don't need these United Way people and  they're are especially scamming seniors and low income folks. Tell your friends and family members to hang up on these crooks!
